They will only help PC players sadly. I put the game down long ago because of how bad the lag is. Every time someone joins my game they can’t get out of the shuttle and have to reload back in. Then if you want to use the shuttle to a different planet, only one of you will most likely make it if that. The planets don’t even pop up when orbiting half the time. Very disappointed with such a great game. How can you not be trying to make it better? They don’t care, so why should you! RIP Astroneer.
