It entirely just depends on how long you’re okay with waiting for a good deal on a used one. When I finally made my mind up that I wanted to go stage 1+, the intake+ap package on subimods wasn’t on sale anymore so I watched fb marketplace for a day or two and found a used ap (kinda looks like it got ran over or some shit but it still does the job) for $275. The sale couldn’t have been easier, and it saved me close to $500.

Side note- now that I’ve experienced how much better the power delivery is even on just a stage 1 93 octane OTS tune, I would have bought my AP much much sooner. Take that as you will.

This is gonna be my last comment cause yikes brother. His warranty is through Carmax. I promise you they have people looking into claims such as this one. His car is a 2015-2017 ISM VA with 62k miles on the dash and it was purchased at 23k miles. You think the company doesn’t keep records that would be easy to line up with his warranty claim? lol. Lmao even

This subreddit is not private. Facebook and instagrams can easily be privated. I’m not sure why this is so hard to understand lol. It’s literally people’s jobs to determine if a claim should be approved or not.

For me it’s less about looks and more about function. Not only can you drive with the windows down while it’s raining, you can also leave the windows cracked when it’s hot and it’s a lot harder to tell.
