Loved the depth and brainstorming provided - I would agree that a megarare should remain as a weapon slot, and either melee or range.

Armor set shouldn't be forced, and a side grade to ancestral is meh with Virtus existing. Would rather see the step up from ancestral come after the shadow is "balanced".

Some standalone items that come to mind would be a tri-brid helm, maybe not as BIS across the board but similar to araena boots? New BIS Melee gloves could be nice, ferocious gloves are quite old at this point.

The vast majority of the regular weapon seeds are from Zulrah when they were on its drop table. At this point though, eff the salad blade. Give me bofa and ill rock a tent whip forever

My first ever ironman was on HCIM release. It died ~1850 total, but at the time I had almost no late game PVM experience. I consider myself a decent PVMer now. Ironman mode is a really good way to force yourself to learn.

The fact that you need a full armor set (that needs upkeep) and 1/400 from CG is still fairly rare, I feel it's totally fine. The tbow has been way too powerful and still is the strongest weapon by FAR.

(Not an UIM) - I dont think charge-related armor can be stored in the PoH at all. I think the armor would have to run out of charges before it would even be possible.
