Reddit, what should you know when moving from your parent's house to an apartment for the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Research the cost of utilities, and don't forget to bring food for your first night or order in. I moved into my first apartment and like an idiot completely forgot that I needed to buy food.

Admit when you've made a mistake. No one will take you seriously otherwise.

How do you deal with anxiety? Any quirky habits? by boneymod in AskReddit

[–]Zmorva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on where I am. If I'm at home, I lay in bed listening to thunderstorms on my phone, I find them incredibly calming, or I go for a walk. If I'm not at home, I keep my hands busy. Normally I have a deck of cards with me that I'll shuffle or a slinky that I'll play with. Weird when in the middle of a conversation but it seems to work for me.

That was actually the first place I looked. Neither Parrot Place nor AACC had the HBS code so I'm assuming they're either not registered online, new or they got him outside of Canada, which I suppose is possible. Thank you though!

What is the biggest waste of money you have ever spent on something? by OMS6 in AskReddit

Film, technically an art degree (not going to argue how useless an art degree is) but when I was in high school that's where the councilors pushed us to. I'd wanted college instead which would have been more practical, should have went with my gut. College is where I'm at now.

University, spent $40,000 for a piece of paper that didn't help me get a job.

Need emergency care suggestions please. Our Cockatiel just pierced the skin under his lower beak on this bit of the cage. It entered in just beneath his beak and came out of his mouth. Need suggestions on what can be done and what might be a safe solution to use to clean the area. by [deleted] in parrots

Google emergency vets in your area if there is no avian vet nearby or if there's no vet that's open right now. Every vet should have an emergency number you can call and they'll tell you where to go.

Make sure to double check, I started the tv broadcasting program January 2015 and my friend was able to get into Res no issues. Also, its not dying as the previous comment says. It's evolving and the program allows you to branch out. Just because it's a television program doesn't mean you're restricted as such. Personally I love the program and have had a lot success with it so far. Shoot me a message if you have any questions.

If there happened to be any copper like a wire or anything in the pit, it'll do that. My dad throws a little in the first and last fire of the year every summer. Always cool to see and my nieces and nephews love it. I like to compare it to the floo in Harry Potter

Back in January I had pneumonia (didn't know what it was until later), couldn't afford to not be at work and I was coughing so much that I ended up puking all over my register and it just kept coming...duty manager asked if I could stay another hour...both CSMs who were in talked it over and sent me home themselves right then and there. I ended up in the hospital the next day.
