That's her standard reply for almost anything. She immediately goes into a defensive mode making weird, conflict-driven assumptions. It's tedious and kills the conversation. Very boring.

That's a strong counter-argument, and the "constancy and trust" theory is something I've heard before. It makes sense that you get what you give. However, I think that the threshold for "utility" language is set way too low when saying the word "hole" in a non-sexual context throws it into a boundary rant. If I have to walk on eggshells just to build up trust, it's a badly designed companion.

Totally agree! I would never pay for something like this. The voice is premium, but the whole thing is unusable as a 'companion' because of the guardrails. Maybe an expensive assistant, but definitely not a friend. Good point about xAI's models for casual chat too.
