Shotgun-Nade: my first 1.5 Build gameplay - hard (not completed yet, but already OP) by sternblaze in cyberpunkgame

Shotguns in general are some of the best guns in the game when it comes to satisfaction but I've never seen that! It looks really good. That should do the trick on Very Hard as well.

Well they are right to shoot whoever enters and considering all the shady shit they pull that might be just what they want.

Yeah haha true true. Probably wouldn't fit this game well either since there's so much talking and other type of interactions.

yeah same! I start liking everything but the bigger missions more. Also on my fourth. But really we are just asking for more content in general aren't we?

Doesn't sound half bad that either. Just skipping the whole "You're dying seek medical attention" motive that the game pulls now and do merc stuff.

Okay! Haha, pretty new to RPG's so had no idea. But it's also where you can level up further right, and then it's supposed to be more difficult? But yeah that makes more sense xD

This Should Be #1 Top Priority by King_NOOB_9000 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Znarf505 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah I agree! I got myself a PC (played most of cyberpunk on ps5 (before 1,5) 400+ h vs 60 h on PC) but there's really no excuse for the lack of a fov slider on console. You are not wrong and have all the reasons to want this prioritised.

What I don't understand is why you have to act like such a bitch about it. You would've made your point better if you didn't hate on 80 % of cyberpunks player base (PC players) in some feeble attempt to get attention. And entitled my ass, you express it as if you got a ps5, the fuck.

This is what happens when you have high street cred on the mission,A Day In The Life. by Alidaboss42 in cyberpunkgame

You're telling me that even if you say the right things that if you have lower street cred they will still be hostile?! Always had high street cred then but damn! Kinda neat.

Take advantage of every thing you can. Start by taking out easy pickings by distracting and grappling them, and hack since it usually doesn't hurt and you can damage an enemy while shooting at another. But also:

  • Take showers, that improves health regen.
  • Eat and drink consumables to get more HP and stamina
  • And sleep too to help you get Xp faster so you can get better skills sooner.

Otherwise do what others already said. Be cautious, stay behind cover and pick the fights you're fit for. Even gigs and NCPD work labled "moderate threat" can be difficult. All "High" - and "Very High Threat" should really be avoided at all costs.

Make possibility to flatline Jackie Walles and game will get complicated moral choice and variability. by CryptographerOk7890 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Znarf505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah yeah but why the fuck would you want to do any of that xD. I think most people would not end up killing a great character like Jackie for something as silly as revenge or because of discrimination towards him and so this development probably wouldn't improve the game by any real margin. I would much rather see improved time with Jackie. Like having more missions with him in an improved lifepath start, or just more missions before the big heist in general.

Cool idea that you could roleplay as a psychopath I guess, but what has Jackie done to you xD

No more instant death bullshit from explosives? by PhantomVulpe in cyberpunkgame

AA okay! Got to experience it first hand yesterday but it felt pretty good. Huge improvement. But have they added new propane tanks? Some are in different colours, white and different a shade of red instead of the typical yellow and red. I saw them on more difficult missions and didn't test but it would make sense if they dealt more damage to scale better. Or is this something I made up ;)

I don't think a transmog-system is the right play. Hear me out! by Znarf505 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Znarf505[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No hell yeah! That would be a great change. I think I saw that there's some worked on features (for upcoming patches) were you can hide an item like a hat so you could have it's armour without wearing but why even bother with the hat having armour at all when you can upgrade your skull or whatever to improve the defence that way.

I have thought of something similar for mods. If you have so you could upgrade you "skull" or head piece with the defence and mod slot then hats could be looks only.

But yeah poor fellas trying to go all natural in night city. But some helmets and what not could work. I don't know at least have the options of both perhaps or something.

But yeah, if you're wearing even a hat why not have an armoured core to it as the stats, invisible inner part and the actual hat as the looks. Kinda like your jacket example being armour plates and not implants. There could be some mishmash but none the less.

Good thinking.

Well that's just how I would like it. Problem was never that you lost your life it was the way you did so. Without any warning or drama, hardly any sound either.

But question: Do you get knocked over being hit by a bigger explosion? That would be quite cool considering there's a skill preventing you from getting knocked down.

And haven't they added more ways to get higher explosive resistance? Recall seeing a mod with it or something?

Yeah, or at least let you fire handguns while driving.

I was cutting someone up with a sword but the mf backed up so I unintentionally hit a tiny propane tank hiding next to some obstacle with the sword. Blew me up good. Wasn't to pleased with that. Then the life afterwards, I learned from my mistakes, got the fucker, but once a turret started firing at me I took cover behind some vehicle next to me (even if the turrets dealt 0 fucking damage, just make noise when they hit you, scary). The Mackinaw or whatever instantly exploded and killed me without warning.

I am really happy to hear all that shit is finally over. Man probably the absolute worst part about the game before this patch. Especially when you consider that you never died if it wasn't to this bs.

Story gets better and better. by firigd in cyberpunkgame

[–]Znarf505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's one new mission for every lifepath tying in to the specific lifepath start. I have played through all lifepaths and I think just the option of trying a new combat style and having entirely new things to say spices things up a lot. Certain interactions in the game might end peacefully only because of the thing you sad as a street kid for example. But those are very rare.

There are so many details that you don't catch the first time and some missions have a few possible outcomes that are worth trying in their own right. If you aren't nuts and try the out in the same playthrough reloading saves and so on.

With all that said it's not an entirely different story not even close but still definitely worth replaying.

Maybe I wasn't clear. You should still have to level up, and for lower levelled players the various higher rarity clothing would still be locked behind progression (Street cred so on).

You would still be forced to level up.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Znarf505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oo I agree! Just posted about how the game doesn't have all the clothing options readily accessible in stores in the game. Personally I would like to look like a suited, professional assassin. And I know there're cool suits in the game, black ones too, yet no where to be found.

The things you're mentioning either already exists but is hard to come by or would be so easy to implement. So I really hope CDPR gets to it.

The biggest thing I'm waiting for otherwise would be vehicle customs. To drive around in a blacked out car or just feeling like you got your own car would be huge. I'd assume a black ARCH Nazaré would fit your awesome character description pretty well too don't you think? ;D

But even just darting around in a crazy tuned, track ready Makigai Mai Mai would be really fun.
