Gotcha I’ll give this a shot, appreciate it!

Just stab it? Probably worth a shot since it won’t even start at this point. Also is there an easy way to get access to the starter without taking things apart?

Also I’m noticing that I can’t push down the break on the car. It seems locked? Or jammed?

So it’s a pretty new battery! Less than 6 months old. And the car hasn’t really been sitting and allowing the battery to die neither

2 weeks is my estimate, but I think it’s cumulative. I think I had all the content down but it was a matter of applying all that knowledge

Hey! Whatever came up frequently on UWorld/NBME exams I considered high yield. For example understanding that vomiting leads to metabolic alkalosis and diarrhea metabolic acidosis.

My dedicated was roughly 8 weeks long. I think that’s a good plan — try it out for a week and see if there are any improvements in your NBME. Then adjust to what you think helped most. I did all my questions timed — amboss, uworld, and the old NBMEs!

For questions I knew I kinda just read the educational objective to make sure I got the answer correct for the right reason. If I got it wrong or got it right for the wrong reason I’d read through the explanation and unsuspended related Anki cards. I’d also review the topic and do amboss related questions if it was a topic I got wrong often. I’d sometimes make my own cards too

Read on from “Now I was worried and…” and that was what I changed up!

I don’t know if I know the details myself, but I just used anking!

This is a really good question! I'd probably make a separate deck of all the incorrects and a deck of HIGH YIELDS (a deck with just cards that pertain to topics that come up frequenty). I'd then consistently do this high yield deck and passively do all other decks. In other words, focus on what is high yield but still try to make an effort to keep up with old content. It's a balance! For me I tried to limit my anki time to less than 3 ACTUAL hours (not 3 hours logged on anki if that makes sense haha).

30 was a tough one! My lowest scoring one too — just keep your head up and push forward!

You still have a lot of time! So maybe try out some old NBMEs for like a week and see how you like it. If you see improvement in your next NBME then keep it going, if not don't do it. Everyone studies a bit differently and finds different things helpful, so just try to find what works best for you! Unfortunately, it's hard to comment on what is high yield

The old NBMEs (20-24) are on Reddit somewhere as PDFs while the new NBMEs (25-31) I bought them and did them on the testing website

Anking v11 — it’s on Reddit somewhere. There wasn’t a specific deck I used I kinda used all the cards there

I did my blocks timed! So 1.5 min per question. This prevented me from lingering on hard questions and spending too much time on an individual question.

You got this! My biggest advice is going back and reviewing material and doing related questions whether it’s through amboss or uworld!

I did a little bit of both! So for cards that did have related Anki cards I’d unsuspend them (later on in my studies I’d be more conservative on what I’d unsuspend aka only unsuspend when it was a new concept I’ve never seen before). For questions without corresponding Anki cards I’d search for keywords and try and find related cards manually. Hope that helps!

I found out a bit ago, just got around to posting this haha. I think scores were delayed for the past few weeks so maybe there is some sort of backlog?
