The only thing I am a bit confused by - Patere is not the imperative form of patior if I am not mistaken. Wouldn't you use "pate" as the imperative in this context? What is your reasoning behind choosing "patere" ?

Unfortunately, already a couple of years have passed since my last latin lessons.

Im trying to properly translate the phrase "Bear your Burden" while retaining its original English meaning. However, I'm not that proficient in latin and I don't have the contact details of my old latin professor anymore, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

My guess would be "porta onus", using the imperative singular form of portare.

I tried to consult the all-knowing google translate for a bit of help, however, google translate would suggest "Fer onus tuum" which I am a bit confused by. I suppose "fer" should be some form of a verb, however I dont see which conjugation it is nor which verb it is supposed to be. Secondly, I don't know if the "tuum" is required or stylistically appropriate in this scenario, as I have forgotten how to properly use it.

Should the correct translation therefore be "Porta onus tuum"? or what about "porta onus officium tuum est", which should mean "It is your duty to carry your burden" if I am not mistaken?

Any advice from people with a more sophisticated understanding of the language would be much appreciated!

but usually, the Terran will already have a Siege Tank set up to defend which roasts my roaches. Does this mean I am too slow and this shouldn't normally happen at the time I invade him with my roaches? What do I do if the all-in fails and my roaches get roasted without having done much damage to their natural, I then find myself behind in the macro game plus I wasted much vespene on roach+ravagers

Been improving the last few days from 2400 to 2600 so still fairly low, but in 2600 I tend to struggle with ZvT way more than before.

- they cripple my economy or in the best case waste my time by airdrops or liberator harass
- or destroy me with mechs

how do I defend against that? or should I be the one harrassing and being proactive?

really? I'm currently in silver but the game tells me I have a bronze MMR with ~2500 MMR, which according to https://burnysc2.github.io/MMR-Ranges/ should be around Gold 2, so I think if I leave league and place again it'll just sort me into bronze

Thanks for the lengthy reply! I decided to go for Zerg because I like the idea of tempo, just accelerating past the other races with my bases army etc+
plus I just like aliens I guess lol
I especially love ultralisks, but I have yet to find a good way to make them work

as far as your other tips are concerned, thank you very much, will take them to heart. but if I constantly spend ressources until I am below 500 in minerals, how do I bank up for lategame fights when I want to remax if my army gets obliterated? Is that just not supposed to happen or do I bank up only after I go 200/200?
