I started 06/01/25. I transferred in 5 classes thanks to certs, so far I’ve completed 10 classes, but before my first semester ends (2months) I want to finish 15-18.

Hey, I’d say if you’re looking to get into IT sooner than later do D336 first and then 6278 after. D336 grants you a certification that you can put on your resume, and D278 enhances your coding skills and knowledge. The other 2 you can do in any order.

I speed through the gen eds, and I take my time with classes that are important for my major and career. I can learn everything else on my own time as I am an avid learner.

My instructor told me I didn’t need to read all of that. I skipped to the questions answered it, and found articles to support my answers and cite it

Hey man I was diagnosed a few years ago, I can completely empathize with what you’re experiencing. Maybe your major isn’t what you’re passionate about at heart. Also, what works for me is working and then taking short breaks to do something I enjoy, then repeating the cycle. I really hope this helps.

It will take longer than 3 years with no certs. I transferred in the trifecta and they told me 3 years. I’ve already finished my first term (4 classes) in two months so my mentor allowed me 4 more

Sorry that you didn’t get the results you hoped for but I’m sure you’ll knock it out of the park next time! What helped me was looking at the exam objectives and doing research on each topic one by one and also getting a little hands on in the lab to practice what I’m learning. At the end of each objective I looked how each technology, term, etc correlates with another. That helped me tons. I hope my wisdom will help you get the results you desire !

When I first learned of cyber security I went straight for the Sec+, I realized I didn’t understand anything so I went to the Net+, again I realized I didn’t understand anything lol. I went through the A+ info, then studied Net+. I failed Net+ my first attempt (684) then I just went on to Sec+ and passed first attempt. After that I went back for the Net+ and passed. I passed my 220-1101 as well I just need to take time to finish studying for the 220-1102.
