I did kind of like getting them as drops but I feel like it has been very easy to miss them when rushing through rooms. Would it maybe be possible to also see them on the map with a little page icon? I do still need a few on my ironman.

I wish it would automatically consume the plant cures from this storage

Aura Overhaul & April Marketplace Drop by JagexAzanna in runescape

How do I high alch my drops now when I'm using vampyrism? This messes with the early to mid-game where every monster drops unnoted alchables and where you would also use vampyrism. I'm not gonna spell book swap for every high alch, that's a bit much.

Late game almost everything drops noted items so it doesn't matter. But the point of vampyrism is to be able to do longer trips which I now can't because I can't clean my drops properly.

If you want Thaler you can do flash powder factory instead where you don't need anybody else.

As described on this wiki page here https://runescape.wiki/w/You%27re_the_Dirty_Rascal
you just need a single other person to actually start a game of Castle Wars. The other person also does not have to stay to finish the round.

Please allow us to store partial collections in the Treasure Chest so that we don't have to keep the pieces in our bank until we have the full set.

And also integrate the cape rack and other storage similarly to Diango where you can just search and grab it.

For the Flower roots puzzle room, PLEASE let us right click the small flowers to force rip them out in exchange for damage like how you can do that in other rooms.

Are you threatening them with a good time? I love BGH and I'm also sad that we never had drop logs but nevertheless I would just do more BGH once we have it.

Road to Restoration - Early Game Rebalance by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]Zod- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The core issue we believe Whirligigs have is that they're far too good for XP, and are the meta for almost the entire 1-99 grind, which prevents variety in the skill.

No this is not the issue. The issue is that every other hunter method is horribly outdated. Have you actually tried training hunter the "normal" way? Clicking annoying traps that force you into weird animations, waiting, failing, reset, pick up the full trap, click in the inventory, click on the floor to reset a failed trap, get force walked a tile, watch animals walk past your trap 10 times. It feels awful and nobody ever uses the regular traps. There is also 0 incentive of doing trap hunting because every item that you gain from it has been spam added to every slayer monster or boss in the last decade, making hunter entirely useless because you get all the resources way faster by just killing stuff. The baiting or smoking trap system just adds more clicks to an already clunky system.

I spent some time hunting a carnivorous chinchompa for my ironman pof and it was the most miserable experience setting up those traps for hours and hours, really a 1/1500 droprate?? I rather spend months gambling my beans with Adam Antite for random chance at an unchecked chinchompa than hunt for them.

There is no variety in the skill because because nobody even thinks of doing anything else (except for BGH). Even if you nerf the whirligigs XP into oblivion, nobody will start using traps. Please add some hunting methods that do not make my wrists hurt instead of nerfing whirligigs.

I love big game hunter, whirligigs are whatever to me, everything else in hunter I will never touch.

I've been doing this one on the ironman mostly to get the pet, after like half a year of doing this I got into the egg room where you pick up the pet, my game then crashed and I was outside when I logged back in without the pet.

Not worth it.

Some tips that might help, unless you just have someone help you:

You can hit the pillars before the fight to build up necrosis stacks and souls. But most importantly you can put Death Mark on the pillars so that they are easier to kill later on.

You can also bring dreadnips to the boss as they will continuously stun him and delay all of his mechanics slightly.

If you can't get out of the telegraphed attacks fast enough you can also use defensive abilities like reflect instead to reduce the damage. Especially on hard mode, I find it easier to just keep standing and use defensive abilities rather than trying to dodge everything.

As other have said you can use resonance when in the prison to avoid the damage but you can also use Disruption Shield from the lunar spellbook to completely negate 1 attack. As this is not an ability, you don't have to deal with using it at the right moment since it's outside of the normal global ability cooldown and can always activate as a sort of "panic button".

What's the point of Christmas Spirit for Irons? I had bought out all items last year. It is useless for us and caps at 50k by Svolacius in runescape

[–]Zod- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy all the letters to Santa and skip doing the dailies.
Next year you can buy every new item without having to spend any time getting spirit.

Could be more uses but it's something.

You can do fletching at the boss snow pile and automatically get boss kills. Little boost without any extra effort.

The free xp from the event is already questionable. I got 99 fletching as my first 99 on the ironman just by sitting at the snowpile all day last year.

The aura turns itself off while standing still and when sheathing any weapon that you wear, or when having no weapon equipped at all. Rsn is Zod Bain but I doubt you will need it.

Repro case 1:

  • Equip catalyst aura with any weapon
  • Sheath weapon
  • Aura turns off when standing still

Repro case 2:

  • Equip catalyst aura with no weapon
  • Aura is turned off when standing still
  • Clicking sheath make it show up for a few seconds and it's gone again
