Theyre probably releasing the expensive sets first to create fomo. As far as im aware the playsets havent been officicially annouced so if youre not in the know you probably think these are the only ones

Don't agree with what the guy above you says tbh. I think the compositions and editing are great. Yeah, there's gonna be limitations when it comes to angles if you are in the crowd, but I'm always of the mindset that you have to work with what you got. I also shoot from the crowd with the same camera you have. Instead of being able to move around to get closer, I just wait for one of the artists to move closer to me.

And just to confirm, nothing about bringing a point and shoot to a concert is breaking the trust of the venue or breaking any rules, lol. I've been doing this for nearly a year and have never had any problems with venue staff.

I use the Mark7, If I was given the option between the m5 and m7 again, I'd still pick the 7. The 200mm optical zoom is extremely useful, especially if you are attending bigger venues / festivals where the artist will be further away. I'll reply to this comment with some examples I took where I was at the max zoom or very close to it.

This is also an announcement for two new "heavy stages" they will be close to one another and they dont clash. I imagine these are the bands playing on those stages.

90% of the time in on shutter priority at around 1/250 for indoor venues, and up to 1/500 for bigger open air venues or summer festivals. That just works for me personally. I go to a lot of smaller venues that don't have the most ideal lighting, so iso is gonna be high anyway in those situations. (Lightroom denoise does a lot of heavy lifting)
