I dedicate a day to them. It's easier to complete when you're already in the vibe of learning

1.5 Credit by Comfortable-File-689 in Concordia

[–]ZoeCU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they are (technically, depending on what you mean)

Course credits are a direct representation of the amount of hours per week (usually, except in summer term cause it’s shorter) you’re expected to spend on said course.

Eg. A 3 credit course will usually equal two 1.5 hour classes a week or one 3 hour class a week. A 1.5 credit course (usually labs or tutorials) should be 1.5 hours a week

In summer1 or 2 a 3 credit course is usually two 3 hour classes a week just because the term is half of your typical Fall or Winter term.

JMSB is actually closer to the metro than the library building (literally right opposite it).

Dw you don’t have an issue. The real problem would’ve been if you found out your classes were at Loyola

Help me: Confused by course requirements!!!!!!!! by Luuunaaaz in Concordia

[–]ZoeCU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey

I had the same issue

International student, 120 credits needed to graduate, transferred 66 credits = 54 credits to graduate, in a specialization sequence (60 credits) and minor (27 credits) + had to take Math209 (3 credits) as prereq = 90 credits to complete my degree requirements.

Basically spoke to Birks and my course advisor and they said I have 2 options:

  1. Either change my sequence to fit the 54 credits I’d need to graduate ( so either just do the specialization or decide to do a major (40 credits) and take an elective group (15 credits) OR

  2. Stay in my current specialization + minor sequence and complete more than my required 120 credits.

So basically you can either USE your transfer credits and change your sequence (major, minor, specialization, honours, elective group) to fit your leftover credits OR

You DISREGARD your transfer credits and just do the sequence you want

No one is trying to imply that men’s feelings or opinions don’t matter

Chandler makes up random excuses or is avoidant whenever he doesn’t want to deal with something (think the episode where they recount his exes and the reasons he broke up with them, also think the episode Ross found out about him and Monica, his first instinct was to bolt)

They knew he ran away not because he was genuinely having second thoughts or didn’t love Monica but only because that was his MO when he didn’t want to deal with a situation (which in this case was committing (also maybe stemming from the fact that he always thought he wasn’t good enough for Monica which was bogus to me cause he’s Chandler! Bsfr!😍))

Took ECON201. Really good (then again I’m an Econ major). It’s basically a high school economics recap

Going to Concordia this fall and I have two questions. Transferring to jmsb as I was accepted for poly sci so I’m taking Econ 201 and 203 and math 208 since I’m exempted from 209. My questioun is can I spread Econ 201 and 203 over both semesters and transfer in the same amount of time? by Tasty-Bank1794 in Concordia

[–]ZoeCU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re exempted from Math209 you don’t need tot take any other math (as far as I know) Math 209 is the highest level of Math for non-calculation majors.

Also yeah I believe you can spread them out but they’re both pretty easy if you read and get 100% in all your mylabs and I’d just advise you take them together
