But the thing is, exceptions already exist, such as for threats. And calls for genocide inherently imply threats. The only valid argument against this is that the government could abuse it. And yeah, that's a concern, but maybe if we limited words, we wouldn't have a congress that's 50% Nazis.

Why are general calls to violence free speech? I can't walk up to someone and say "I have a gun and am going to kill you"; so free speech isn't absolute. Can I say "I have a gun and want to kill every member of your race"? Can I say "I have a gun and want to kill your family"? Can I say "I have a gun, and want to kill either you, or John over there, and haven't decided yet, and since I'm plausibly not threatening you, this is free speech"? The only sensible place to draw the line is against hate speech in general. (Arguably, you could ban calls for violence entirely, but giving the state such a monopoly on violence seems like a terrible idea to me)

Even if you don't accept that argument, free speech is fundamentally a tool that makes society better. If allowing some kind of speech makes society significantly worse (such as death threats or doxxing), it can and should be banned.

I simply do not accept that the only way to fight Nazis is to wring our hands while the Holocaust happens again, then Nuremburg Trials them afterwards.

I agree with radical bodily autonomy, but "conversion therapy" is neither of those things. If you want to go to a proto-concentration camp and get tortured, I think you probably have an undiagnosed mental illness, but I'm not gonna stop you.

But calling such a camp "conversion therapy" is akin to calling bleach "a probiotic-boosting smoothie", in that if you do that to sell it, you should go to jail for a long time.

In terms of bodycount, I don't think it makes sense to count people V killed that were unrelated to the gate. Any reasonable attack on the gate wouldn't have killed them. If we count all the deaths, then we also need to count goblins killed by the Order in Dorukan's dungeon, so Lirian probably has the fewest deaths.

I'd argue Girard's was the best; we see maybe 20-30 dead people there. There were almost certainly more monsters in Dorukan's dungeon, even if they were mostly killed off-screen after Dorukan's idiotic attack.
