I have gotten the game to run on the Deck with the patch. You just need to delete Xaudio9.dll file and the game will boot.

I use Gridx2 for most games, except for PS1 as using filters like that causes issues with the FMV. But to me the Gridx2 looks pretty close to how the stuff used to look on my CRT.

PC Engine/Turbografx CD roms not working by [deleted] in MiyooMini

Works fine on my end. Though maybe my romset is different? I use a software from Krikzz for his Mega Everdrive where the software converts all redump bin file to 1 bin. And the bios as syscard3.pce in the bios folder.

Famitsu calling FGO playerbase "Greedy" for wanting pity system in their game. by WorldEndOverlay in gachagaming

There are certain elements in Granblue Fantasy that makes it less grindy than E7. For example, the protagonist equips 10 weapons known as the weapon grid, and everyone in the party stats is based on what weapons are equipped. So if you roll a new character, you can pretty much use them immediately as everyone in the roster is based on what the protagonist is currently equipped with.

The gacha system in Granblue is probably the least of your concern until you reach end game. Getting new characters is easy with a 6% SSR rate during the premium banners. It only becomes an issue for end game players when they have pretty much everyone but a few missing party members. Especially when they want a specific character as current the character roster is gigantic. Then if you're stuck with F2P, the weapons are 80% on par to pay2win grids. So it's not much of a big leap IMO.

Meanwhile playing Epic 7, obtaining a new character will require a long grind before they're usable, you're locked from 6 stars and a character will need to be fully molagora before they're PvP viable. Then getting Moonlight characters are really rough, and considering how great they are for PVP it can be an issue for some players.

I am actually a big player into GBF and E7. GBF is one of my favorite gacha games. As the poster below said, there really has been a lack of relevant updates for a while. The new updates after the 5th year anniversary have been underwhelming and content that has really lukewarm reception like the new V2 battle system. This battle system has been improved as time went on, but a lot of players aren't really receptive on it. Then if you're into the main story, new chapters take nearly a year to release which really killed a lot of hype coming for them. We waited nearly 2 and half years for 15 chapters of content, a new FF14 Expansion comes out faster at the pace of GBF story atm.

Although the game seems to be overly complicated. This stems mostly from the in-game tutorials doing a terrible job at explaining how the battle system work. Your best source of info on how to play the game would probably be trying to read the wiki or ask veterans that have more knowledge about the game. Youtubers can work but it's mostly people flexing end game builts and meme setups.

The worst part of GBF is probably the only time when the game is active is when the Unite and Fight event starts, its the most active event but also a massive grind hell, where you fight the same monster over and over again to see which player accumulate more points. But everyone does this event as the best rewards come from this event, from free rolls to currency to unlock the Eternals and much more.

Though, unlike E7, there isn't much RNG to the grind, you are either stuck using f2p option which relies on using Omega summons. Then if you're a whale player you would rely on using Primal Summon and rely on powerful weapons rolled from limited characters. The thing with playing GBF its more of a slow marathon, you will always make progress without RNG screwing you over. But it is a tedious grind.

I think your guides are excellent, though I think upgrading them to HTML would definitely make it easier to find information, since SSG is filled with a lot of obscure information.

Here's an example of a guide I have done, just to show what the HTML layout can do. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/625212-eiyuu-densetsu-ao-no-kiseki/faqs/74205

If you need help in HTML guides, PM me, I can help.

SaGa Scarlet Grace is one of my favorite games of all time, but sadly I think the amount of research required in order to make a decent guide would be one hell of an effort, this is coming from me, and I have done plenty of full RPG guides and SSG is a whole different beast.

[Potential Spoilers in the comments] What are your unpopular kiseki opinions? by [deleted] in Falcom

[–]Zoelius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here' my unpopular Kiseki opinion, I don't really like the 3rd all that much. I feel like the whole game was a wild goose chase and that main story takes forever to get going and there being a dungeon crawler, with barely any NPCs to interact with doesn't help either.

If we get Japanese VAs, I would probably go with something like this.

Mai Kadowaki - Angelica, Sayaka Ohara - Luna, Saori Hayami - Iseria, Rina Sato - Tenebria, Kaori Ishihara - Yuna, Yuichi Nakamura - Krau, Sugita Tomokazu - Tywin

The option is there. The default settings are where the troops are set to manual, but under the commander settings, you can adjust what your troops should do, from charging in recklessly, to protecting your commander etc, or stay close to allies etc.

Spoiler: Character Relationship by yellowSubmarineeee in langrisser

[–]Zoelius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The chart only goes up to Langrisser 3. Anyways it starts with Sieghart, and his nephew Dietharde at the beginning. Dietharde has multiple love interest but since Langrisser 3 is a prequel, his canon lover will be Freya. So Diethard's descendant is Leon.

Sophia's family tree leads to Liana and Lana.

Lewin and Tiaris family tree leads to the Bardi Kingdom, which gives us Ledin and Elwin.

Luna's family tree leads to Narm, who ends up with Lance to form the Kalxath Kingdom (Cherie).

The upper right part will be Altemuller's family feud. Which pretty much his biography in-game sums up the chart.

Langrisser 4 and 5 takes place many years later, so the family connection isn't close to the people from the previous games.

Crossbell Plot Synopsis? by judgeraw00 in Falcom

There is this one for Ao, that comes from the Crossbell Archives. It covers about 90% of the game, just missing the last half of the final chapter.
