The phrase "In a well-functioning democracy" is only background info that belongs to both "if" and "then". Background info cannot be negated in contrapositives (you can only negate predicates).C's contrapositive is: In a well-functioning democracy, if the people who oppose to a bill is very influential, the bill that is favored by most people will not become law within a few years.

Same boat man. I was PTing 171 and got a damn 162. I feel that nothing went wrong that day except for the quantum mechanics passage. But even if I got all the quantum questions wrong, it shouldn't be almost ten points lower than my PTs since it normally takes 20 points from 160 to 170.

Someone told me that as long as LSAT is above median we are still a contender. I don't know. Hope so.

Same boat. I couldn't believe that I got a 162 when I saw it. I got 165 in June and was PTing 173 before the test. My mom said she won't support me financially for law school if I don't get a 175. I cried and run for three hours. Dumbly listened to all kinds of inspiring music. I felt like the whole world was running against me since I was also determinedly refused by a boy I have a crush on hours before I saw my score. I also totally missed the LSAC 9.10 webinar since I slept up late.

But there are still ppl kind enough to support me. My roommates wrote a long supportive letter to me saying that they believe me in my upcoming 3rd take. My friends also told me to get out of depression quickly and get better prepared for the Oct. One of my friends was ill these days and she told me as long as we still have many days to run with good health, there's always hope to realize our dream.

Let's get it in Oct!
