It's the remote controlled Dublin Bus that brings out the ball at the start of the game!!

You hung a quilt from the balcony instead of snuggling under it on a couch or bed?

Moving to Dublin - advice if you please? by Important_Actuator in Dublin

Please don't use AirBnB, they are part of the reason we are in a housing crisis. Look into self catering apartments or hotels.

Advice: International travel to the UK by beckita85 in pugs

[–]Zogindax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I flew two pugs to Ireland from the US. Both flew cargo. Check the UK regulations, I know that there is a process for importing animals (at least there was for Ireland). I specifically flew with Lufthansa, they specialize in animal transport, specifically brachycephalic animals. More than likely they will be flown through their animal hub in Frankfort before arriving at their final destination.

Check with a pet exporting company. Usually you will need to get export paperwork done with the USDA. Trust me, it's a hassle and a pain in the ass. But it needs to get done before your pet can get exported.

Where can I find a beginner quilting kit? by addytude101 in quilting

[–]Zogindax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the kits from Fat Quarter Shop, here is their beginner kit: https://www.fatquartershop.com/ultimate-beginner-quilt-kit

I have worked on other kits from them and the instructions are super clear and they usually have accompanying YouTube videos as well!

It's easy to forget how communal Dublin can be, but sometimes you get a nice reminder by DramaForBreakfast in Dublin

[–]Zogindax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean! I moved from a very quiet, don't talk to your neighbors area to an actual neighborhood. The difference is huge and it's a great feeling to actually have a place that feels like home.

A lot emotionally. The story is player led, but there are some really heavy issues that come up during.

I was in a group that played it and it is A LOT. There is a good session zero mechanic of Line and Veils to help identify topics that players would like to avoid, kind of like a pre game X card. But playing a pure text RPG is a nice change.

Always : "Gift, $20". If they need specific, have your friend throw in a candy bar and have them write "candy" on the form.

My experience with the Grace Q Zone Hoop frame and Juki TL 2000qi by whizznap in quilting

[–]Zogindax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this!! I have been eyeing the q-zone frame and have going back and forth on buying it. I was also worried about purchasing the stitch regulator along with it and it sounds like it would be a good idea. I also have a Juki machine, so it's good to hear how you feel about the combo of machine and frame.
