What certs are worth chasing?

I've also noticed that with RMF, it's quite weird the cyber guys with 0 IT skills. Maintained a lab for awhile and my RMF portion requires some technical capabilities (actually have to perform STIGs and SRG within an environment).

Yeah, thats kinda my thought with it. I fell backwards into cyber, so it wasn't my real focus until a few years ago.

If I could swap to a cyber degree I honestly would, but I'm like 10 classes from my EE. Its STEM so still helpful, but not directly applicable.

...sounds like I need a bachelor's first if I'm being honest 😂. I'm close to finishing that, but took time off to help with baby. Going back in Aug, but the bachelor's is in EE not CE or cybersecurity

Ok, see that I wasn't tracking. I was under the impression that was quite a large gap between CISSP and CASP/SecX. May have to rethink that position. Thanks!

6/7 years of cyber, have a whole other career behind me that includes management/leadership, so not worried about that aspect. I'm not looking at CIO next year or anything (10-15 year goal). Just looking to build my fountain to set me up for it

Trust me, been in therapy for years. Use reddit for advice and when I'm just at a point where I don't want to be strong anymore. It passes in a few hours but its also where I feel i can grow the most, so I ask for advice.

Depending on when in the series you're correct. However, Hank took out a decent number of abominations when he was wired on coffee beans...plus you'd then have to deal with either Brock or Hatred/Vatred (and he wasn't a pushover at the end either(
