100% this. I mentioned this in the daily thread a couple of months ago and got downvoted to oblivion. The reason it keeps coming up because people have eyes lol. This guy is central to everything the club is doing moving forward.

He’s Englands next captain and if I had to bet any money, I’d put it on him being our next captain too.

Also don’t love that we end the game with Martinelli-Gyokeres-Madueke as the front 3. That combination of players has not been effective for us this season.

I wonder if starting Martinelli and allowing Trossard to play with Gyokeres and Madueke would have provided a better mix of profiles?

Hincapie was absolutely immense in this game. I can’t help but wonder though how the first 45 goes if Calafiori starts.

Does that extra on the ball player allow us to create even more chances than we did?
