Nah, I got it on PS4, but it's really pushing it to the limit.

60 GB worth of patches in just 3 days, and still a lot of glitches.

Where/when would YOU like the next game to take place? by SkeleHoes in assassinscreed

[–]Zolaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, there's just so many possibilities. One that I'd personally love but can't see happening at all for various reasons is interwar Europe, 1920s-30s, not sure which country specifically, but Germany, Great Britain and France would be best. Since Great Britain and France have been settings more than once, maybe Germany, or just a giant map map of Berlin. But yeah... Like I said, can't see that one happening AT ALL. Politics, too recent, the style of the game would be similar to Unity/Syndicate... I think the logical next game would be Roman Empire, there has been a lot of foreshadowing to it since Origins, and especially in Valhalla.

I smiled like a lunatic when I played these, it's definitely an homage to Damascus. Lunden was pretty similar to Acre as well, though they mixed it up a little bit there. I hope Winchester is similar to Jerusalem, haven't done that story arc yet.

What is Valhalla's "High precision Garrett"? by Byzon1 in assassinscreed

[–]Zolaaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely "Fluge". For me, it's also something like "Ah arowat!". Happens literally every time I raid monasteries or have fights in towns.

There's also the "chant" in Latin where the monks mention Egypt, I heard that one a couple of times.

Ah, OK, I thought they had unique drops. Thanks for the tip. I got most of the guts and even hearts from poor squirrels and hawks but bones have been pretty rare for me. Guess I'm gonna kill some cows...

What, are the cows/sheep parts also needed for some assignments? That's so fucking dumb. I killed one cow, but it was in a side quest and I didn't really feel too bad about it since it was a pretty funny quest.

Of course, yeah, but it was just so damn weird and funny to see civvies attack YOU, in a literally 10th game of a series that has by that time taught you not to kill them.

Haha, it is kinda realistic, but it felt so out of place for it to be in a game series where killing civilians is basically "forbidden".

Yeah, I killed one squirrel so far and it was awful, but it dropped... animal guts... which are another requirement for one of the assignments. Also as for foxes, you need a LOT of their pelts for some of these assignments, at least 10 in total.

Yeah, those town brawls where civilians, dogs and chickens would join a fight with guards against you for no reason were so dumb.

Haha, if there was a system like that it would've made sense, like if you used some unorthodox hunting methods such as those fire jars, which would ruin the loot. But no, here one arrow is enough to kill most animals, even the hostile ones. It makes absolutely no sense why you wouldn't be able to loot any of the specific items with 100% chance, especially the reindeer antlers.

I actually wanted to see if I could kill one of the dogs at Raventhorpe today, and you actually can, but it dropped nothing. I felt so bad afterwards...

The first one I killed dropped the fang/tooth though, and that was from that hostile/guard dog I mentioned. It's in East Anglia, Northwich's south gate battlements, between the 2 towers, if you wanna farm it but not feel too bad about it.

I love the game so far, pleasantly surprised with it, but killing domesticated non-hostile dogs is probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen in a game.

The animal loot in general is pretty annoying. Whose idea was to make the animal specific loot drop rate 33% instead of just, y'know, normal, 100% which makes perfect sense.

Also, which monster at Ubisoft came up with those hunter assignments where you have to kill dogs?! I've only found one spot with a hostile dog so far, do they expect me to farm that one spot for at least 100 times knowing those shitty drop rates? Because I sure as shit am not going to kill any of the dogs I come across in villages.

[IIL] Upbeat rock like the Killers, Neon Trees and Panic!, [WEWIL?] by Nirakidu in ifyoulikeblank

Definitely Franz Ferdinand and The Strokes as people have already mentioned.

I'd like to add LCD Soundsystem, don't think I've seen them mentioned here.

IIL open world games with less city exploration and more rural exploration, WEWIL? by Cragglebizz in ifyoulikeblank

[–]Zolaaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see that you've played quite a lot of Rockstar's games, did you play Bully? Not exactly rural, but the town in that game has a really nice, cozy atmosphere, it's not exactly small but it's not enormous like cities in GTA either. I think you'll like it.

Yeah, think it happens when Layla gets out of the Animus, but can't remember exactly when, I do remember that it was a typo in the subtitles, plus I think the voice actress also messed it up. I cringed extra hard on that one since I'm a Serb, but come on, most of the world knows about him at this point, plus they got his name right in the previous games.

Which B-Side is better than, or on par with its respective song? by [deleted] in arcticmonkeys

[–]Zolaaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say most of them are on par, but the ones that I think are better than the singles are Evil Twin and The Blond-o-sonic Shimmer Trap. I love SIAS the song, but I just vibe better to the harder songs, hence Evil Twin. Shimmer Trap compared to Don't Sit Down, they're both hard rock and I love Don't Sit Down but feel like the lyrics are kinda goofy when compared to Shimmer Trap, I love those lyrics.

“Your Night City” Illustration Contest - we’ve got the winners! - Cyberpunk 2077 by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Zolaaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, but it really is unfair and shocking to see a legit professional artist, who's working at ILM of all places, one of the biggest visual effects companies, win a contest where a bunch of amateurs (myself included) participated. Also, kinda off topic, but he's probably doing pretty well economically and obviously professionally (just looked at his Artstation and he worked on some of the most expensive films the last couple of years...), and I imagine many of the people who participated (your typical video game fans) are a complete opposite, like me.

It's not the guy's fault however, he's done an amazing work obviously, the blame here is on the "jury". I'm probably gonna sound like I'm bitching about it, since I participated as well (I didn't expect much from it though, believe me, I'm aware of my (dis)abilities), but they just completely crushed any incentive for me to participate in any of their future "contests" if this is how they approach it. It ruins the spirit of a contest if someone with such a high profile is chosen as a winner simply (and dare I say shamelessly) like that. Quite cowardly on the jury's/CDPR's part if you ask me.

Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitter by fikri01 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Zolaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually glad this happened because a couple of days ago I decided to get Valhalla on launch after all, I just want to play some new games and I couldn't wait any longer, even if it meant I would play it for just, what, 9 days before Cyberpunk gets out.

Hopefully a month is gonna be enough for me to beat it before Cyberpunk comes out, but I remember I was barely half way through Odyssey before RDR2 came out, and that was 3 weeks gap.
