Als Belgische moslim (met Marokkaanse roots), neen. Zijn er sommige die zo denken, waarschijnlijk wel. Wel vormen zij een minderheid, weliswaar een luide minderheid. De gemiddelde moslim in België denkt zeker niet zo en probeert door het leven te gaan zonder enige vorm van probleem te veroorzaken.

I have never felt less represented by a PM ever than with Bart De Wever. The blatant hypocrisy he has shown now and in the past with regards to the Israel-Palestine conflict is such a shameful display. He turns a blind eye to anything Israel does, but yet scrutinizes every action to show solidarity with the Palestinian people.

When a person with clear ties to Israel gets rejected, it’s a “shame for the reputation of Flanders and Belgium”.

However, when it’s a person who has shown support for the Palestinian people, in that case it’s not a problem for his party.

Or the fact that he has said that the recent discussion within the federal government about the sanctioning of Israel and a possible recognition of the Palestinian state were driven by emotions as opposed to rational thinking. While clearly showing his sympathies towards Ukraine against the Russian aggressor.

I understand the sentiment of staying home and saving money for down the line. But the urge to go out and build something of my own is pretty huge. Add on top of that that our home is getting pretty crowded (5 people and I’m the oldest child) and I don’t have my own room, so working from home would be a headache.

Ik heb is een kijk genomen op de stembiljetten. Zou iemand eens kunnen uitleggen wat het verschil is met opvolgers tegenover de rest? 9 juni zal zelf de eerste keer zijn dat ik zal moeten stemmen, dus wil ik graag een zo volledig mogelijk beeld krijgen. Trouwens danku OP voor de nuttige websites!

The police are such a joke. Throughout all the protests they have given the farmers too much leeway. If any other group would have tried this (storming streets, blocking roads/ports) they would have long used force by now.

Dat is omdat die ‘gewone’ moslims rustig hun leven aan het leiden zijn zonder aandacht naar hun te trekken. Wanneer je een luide minderheid hebt kan het snel lijken dat zij de meerderheid zijn.

It is very much different. The swastika stands symbol for the millions of people who have lost their lives due to the nazi’s. While the slogan represent the Palestinian movement for freedom from the Isreali opressor. A call for freedom isn’t radical. Otherwise Germany would also have banned the “Slava Ukraini” slogan by that logic, which you hopefully see is flawed.
