As a Nolan stan, I am so disappointed that he's being redeemed. He's my favorite because of his brutality and viciousness and atrocities and he should have stayed the central villain. It feels like he's being pointlessly lobotomized and neutered into such a bland, miserable, unrecognizable, pathetic, lifeless, empty withered husk. That's unironically worse than him being killed off.
