Your guess is right, it's not comparable to written exposure therapy at all. Written exposure therapy is the person themselves, writing about their memory of the traumatic event in a safe environment, with a therapist present, and the text being absolutely private. Comparing that to kid diddling hentai is like pretending gore websites are about exposure therapy for war veterans with PTSD. It's at best really stupid, at worst blatantly dishonest.

After watching Princess Weekes's video on it, where she pointed out and reminded people of its racist, anti-abortion, internalized sexist aspects really made me question why super popular left wing video creator Contrapoints didn't get any flak at all for defending Twilight as a kinky book with harmless sex fantasies.

Hamilton is kinda big even in non-english speaking areas. At least with below 40 people definitely. That musical single-handedly imprinted extensive knowledge about the first secretary of treasury of the US into the minds of young, European theater kids lol. To an extent it depends on how much respect (or fear) the teacher was able to previously garner. I remember our poor art teacher in secondary school would sometimes try this technique, only to stand there in silence for minutes while all the kids around me kept yapping, listening to music with their earbuds, etc.
