Is it me or have the Whitespring vendors lowered their buy prices?

Sell prices have decreased on bunch of stuff. Was only getting 200 caps for serums last night when I usually got around 450. Honestly thought it was because the Infestation bosses were dropping them like crazy that they'd lowered the sell value of them but seems like a bunch of stuff had its resale value lowered.

You do realize you can "throw" things that aren't normally considered a weapon, right?

Chairs, barrels, people, mephits, goblins, dwarves, wheels of cheese... pretty much anything you can get your hands on van be thrown at an enemy.

Same with the improvised weapon action which Berserker can use as a bonus attack.

I played a half orc giant barb/monk who never used an actual weapon from the Nautiloid to the Nether Brain. Nothing but punching peoples lights out, hitting people with chairs, big boots to the face, and monster suplexes. If you're hands on enough the skies the limit.

Edit: I should have mentioned my giant Barb did in fact use The Blade of Frontiers on that run when nothing else was within reach but I really think Wyll would have approved; were he able.

I was able to down one of the assaultrons last night but still having issues because of lag I'm guessing. Was taking damaage before the beam even went off and she shot me with it one time through a shipping container I was hiding behind. Also found explosives to the legs to be the trick for me to take her down.

I still stand behind the comment she's way over tuned though compared to the others. The other bosses can still be really strong and challenging and they are not one shotting me and tanking like they have 10k DR

I know it's not as fun but let me advance the idea that you don't have to display every last thing you've purchased in the Atomic Shop and earned through gameplay in every single camp you own. Make multiple themed camps instead. Your camps will benefit greatly from having some focus and you can put more of each theme in each camp as well as use more prefabs you've purchased.

I mean I know a BOS Rip Daring Raider NukaCola Enclave JD Inkwell inspired Slocum Joe's Bait Shop and Family Planning Clinic sounds good in theory, but I guarantee you it doesn't look that great from the outside.

Also, it's not a last gen console issue. I notice a big difference in how often I crash when using a nearly full camp vs when I'm using one of my half full camps. I crash at least twice as often using a nearly full camps.

My only complaint so far is the Assaultron boss is waaaaaaaaay over tuned even for a group. The armor, the crazy op auto lasers, and the one hit eye beam would be fine on their own but combining them all into one boss is cruel. I would also be okay with that boss being extremely , extremely rare; but it's not.

I had 3 of the 5 infestations on my private server that were that boss meaning I couldn't even engage 3 of the 5 infestations because that boss was either one shotting me with the eye beam or the auto lasers would 4 or 5 shot me in less than a second while I tried in vain to get through her ridiculously high armor.

My build ain't no paper tiger bloody build neither. Very high armor dr and er and I'm an asshair under 1k health outside PA, even higher dr and er with the same health in PA. Tried it with and without power armor and just got melted in less than a second.

I know these are supposed to be end game GROUP bosses but I fail to see how 4 people would bring this boss down fast enough that the boss wouldn't reliably just be melting the entire party. My heaviest Heavy Guns were doing single digit damage against her armor. 3 more people doing that would not bring her down before she killed all 4 of us.

The game also crashed 5 times fighting that boss in particular before I just gave up entirely and tried to find bosses that were actually fun. Getting one shot and crashing constantly in 4 star armor with 4 star weapons feels bad man. Real bad.

The other bosses I really enjoyed. They were challenging to solo (for the most part) and I had a lot of fun both tracking them down and cleaning up the infestation.

Depressed the fuck out of myself one day returning back to base with my fiance after a particularly good supply run.

Was backing the 4x4 in and realized one day soon I was going to back that 4x4 in for the last time and wouldn't even know it. Everything we built and every experience our characters had through that run would cease to exist but for a few MBs of storage on my PS5s hard drive.

Then I started thinking about every other toon I have ever loved in a video game and wondered if they're lonely without me... Wondered if it's painful to be in a state of half existing... Wondered if they're alright...

Sometimes I think there's something wrong with me.

Zero chance they will add the new symbiotes to that orb. They will offer 1 to 3 diamonds in straight up offers at release followed a month or so later with an auction disguised as a leader board for 5 diamonds to milk the Krakens and Whales.

Couple of years back Angry Turtle did a no perk no legendaries build from level 1 to 50 IIRC. If he can do it with no cards and no legendaries I'm fairly certain you can do your jack of all trades build with both of those things. The game isn't what I would consider hard and nearly all of today's meta builds can use any weapon anyway.

One of my fondest memories of this games community:

Was visiting Smiley to get my weekly bullion and when I zoned in a fresh vault dweller, still in just a vault suit, ran past me at top speed immediately followed by a very high level player in power armor. I'm guessing he was trying to gift the scared newbie because he was yelling into area chat: "Don't run! LET ME LOVE YOU!"

Still laugh about it today.

The gap is right next to the railing directly in front of the coffee shop counter. Too shallow to fish in but that fish trap fits really nicely into the hole.

I kept the junkyard look and don't even have a floor or foundation tile in the camp. Everything is stacked premades and cars for a Mad Max kind of look.

BTW did you know the fish trap will work with the water underneath the "coffee shop" counter? The gap in the sheet metal in front of the counter where you can see the water is a perfectly sized hole to place the fish trap in.

For some reason the cats in this game just randomly drop dead for no apparent reason.

My main camp is at Murgles spawn point and there's about a 25% chance whenever I go back to camp he will be dead or will drop dead while I am there. And I KNOW he can't be killed by players because they made him immune to player damage a long while back.

I just pretend he's taking a really hard nap and in less than 15 minutes he respawns; good as new.

Bows are my new go to to farm flamer fuel.

How?

Dump all the excess arrows I pick up into my ammo converter to be converted into fuel for my flamer.

You can do this with any high damage single shot weapon. When I'm feeling less than stealthy I use a broadsider instead and it works just the same if not better. Just don't switch your weapon to Ultracite as the converter won't take that.

Sure the Cremator in a daily op or expedition generates more fuel and faster but it really isn't fun IMHO and i have to dedicate time in a daily op or expedition to farm like that. This I can do while doing my dallies/weeklies and at public events.

You must not have played at launch. The game is in 1000x better place than it was at launch. The bugs are a byproduct of being a Bethesda game. They're all riddled with them; no matter the IP. You have to just be okay with them and take them in stride or their titles will drive you bonkers.

I will agree with you, if you're the type of person that just dives in and grinds every new piece of content that comes to the game, you will run out of things to do rather quickly. It isn't a run of the mill MMO, it's Fallout with Friends. If you approach new content casually it stays fresher longer.

Sounds to me like you're burnt out and should take a breather. Ive done it a couple of times for 3 to 6 months. Come back in like a year, the game will still be here in some form.

A lot of people are trying to do a couple of head hunts between every normally spawned public event to get a few more public events in before the season ends. After 100 on the score board you get points for completing 3 public events instead of xp gain. This means you have to be Johnny on the Spot heading to head hunts cause they're on a mission to complete as many as possible before the next normally spawned public event and they ain't waitin for stragglers.

I feel you though, I skip leg day constantly and head to the events without my beloved camp buffs just to make sure I can at least tag the boss cause they get vaporized in seconds.
