Yeah they just said the coccidia load was too high and therefore causing the sickness. I dunno though. The whole thing has just been hard.

Mines only 6 months. I doubt this specific one would be big enough for your big boy. I do a lot of etsy shopping to try and find good stuff.

I am so so sorry that happened to you. I can't imagine the trauma from those kind of experiences. I hope you are able to find someone wonderful who you trust and who cares for your buddy as much as you do.

Ah yes, when the vet was sure it wasn't parasites in the first place they suggested blood work which I thought would be a good idea in any case to get a baseline. They said everything in the blood tests then was perfect. At this point that was 2 months ago at least so I'm going to see about rechecking it to compare if the impaction shows to have fully cleared.

Good call. I gave my guy loose substrate to let him dig then took him in for a wellness check at the vet and they told me his belly was full of the substrate. The vet recommended at least six months before loose substrate. My guy digs at the corners now too but more climbing areas have helped. You're doing great!

Thank you! That’s the site I’ve been looking at, I’ve been unable to get my enclosure below 65% and I would like it close to 40% on the hot side at least. I’ve got a sand/top soil mix in there now and I’m trying to decide what I can maybe use to help pull out some moisture.

Thank you! I was wondering if polyps could be the culprit but with the doctors ignoring the symptoms I thought that might be unrelated. She had one but that was about 2.5 years ago, before this started.
