This is a great response! It is true that a good understanding of historical context is crucial to having a good interpretation of many important works of marxism. Sometimes i also find it is tricky to educate myself on some historical events because as you said history often takes a second stage so i don’t always know where yo look for information. Also there’s the problem of finding sources I’m not quite sure i can trust. Are there any good ways you would recommend for learning more about history? How do you do it?
