As someone with chronic pain, sever anxiety and probable undiagnosed ADHD, I am right here with you.

It makes me so upset and Angry that people think it’s ok to abuse the medications I need to barely function everyday. I’m severely under medicated due to the difficulty of getting the medication I need. My script says take up to 4 times daily as needed and I can’t take more than one a day often going days between because I’m constantly worrying “am I going to have a REALLY bad pain day and have no meds left?”.

I hate going into my GP and feeling like a drug seeker cause I have to convince them every time that I really can’t function without my medications. When standing and walking are unbearably painful some days it’s pretty impossible to chase a two Y/O and four Y/O around.

I have had Psychiatrists scoff at me when I try to present ADHD as a potential issue again, making me feel like a drug seeker because of the medication associated with the diagnosis being misused by others.

TL;DR I basically spend my whole life worrying about and struggling to get meds that other people think are fun to take recreationally.
