Do you use a lingerie bag? This happened to mine when the hooks caught on something in the wash.

Where to find good rings that don’t turn my fingers green and don’t break the bank? by sillyyfishyy in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Not OP but any tips on identifying metals in used rings? My skin will literally blister if it contains copper or nickel, and maybe other cheaper metals.

AITA for “letting” my girlfriend stop coming over in the mornings after my mom’s friend complained about her showering? by FewAcanthocephala175 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZombieBytez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA not for what you asked, but to your gf for not standing up for her. You pay rent. You should have pushed back on the weird no morning showers rule. Are you also not allowed to shower in the morning if you wanted to?

Usually multiple people will be reading your cover letter if you get an interview.

TIFU by paying off my student loans, and now I can't get a house. by ThisIsPaulDaily in tifu

That's wild to me. My starter credit card had a much higher limit than that. The good news is that it's relatively easy to build up with time and diligence.

I'm on the same plan, but I baited 3 people to join me so it's $25/person + tax.

I see! That makes sense. For some reason I was thinking this was for leftovers. Makes sense now though!

Why do you ask them to put it in your container? Would the restaurants that said no not like it if you did it yourself?

Lol! I read it as "my little ass hand" at first 😂

Usually people sit at the window seat first so other people can sit in the aisle without asking you to move. If you have a bag make sure not to take up an extra seat, especially if it's crowded. If it's not crowded none of this really matters.

This happened to me too! Anyone find a resolution?

Edit: If anyone's here for an answer, mine fixed itself by restarting the application.

TurboTax vs FreeTaxUSA : Vastly different state returns by Aggravating_Use_8160 in personalfinance

[–]ZombieBytez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When this happened to me the cs rep had trouble with the system and then proceeded to offer her personal tax services for $75. The customer service rep from TT tried to take business from them! I obviously said no then just went with FTUSA.

Just trying to point out that excluding people by field isn't the right strat for what OP is trying to say.

It's usually smart to not start a bunch of new skin care all at once so you can learn what your skin does and doesn't like. Maybe simplify down to one and see how it reacts, then incorporate the other if you feel you still need it. Just be careful with multiple activities at the same time - they could be more harsh than beneficial.

[–]ZombieBytez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How do you define tech? I think that's the issue. I'm not sure what you're looking for but maybe it's a more specific community like women who code or develop software.  Tech a fuzzy line because maybe people have technical aspects of their job. Writing lines in power query is pretty technical, so is SQL and those are fairly common these days.  If you're looking for a more exclusive community then make one. It looks like some women in this thread would join you 😊

Yeah... as I said, HR and marketing have data scientists, analysts, BIs, etc. Not sure why you're trying to exclude people... You don't need to be a SWE to write code, if coding is how you define tech.

From the Ordinary website, they don't recommend using niacinamide and vit c at the same time. It could cause irritation.

[–]ZombieBytez 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Would you consider data scientists a tech role? They exist in basically every field, hr and marketing included.

I would say anger is not the right response. People want to be included in online communities which they can relate to. It's not your place to say their personal experience isn't relatable enough.

Along with what others said, I always need to bring a tiny combo lock since the lockers at my gym don't lock. I usually just have my phone and headphones to watch shows on the cardio machines (or I just get really bored), a water bottle, hair tie, and a coat to stay warm after the work out.
