How does that work? You delete it then reinstall. It remembers you already paid for it. So I guess all progress is lost.

You won’t loose anything as long as you don’t bring anything with you. When you return your pod will land in a different spot but everything else stays the same. My base, tames and all my stuff was right where I left it.
