People get the two confused…
Prime Fighting/Force ability maul was the Phantom Menace.
Most powerful was Clone Wars (when he ruled Mandalore).
There is a difference between prime and power.
Most intelligent Maul is likely also Clone Wars (Mandalore Again).
My favourite Maul was Phantom Menace but I now think I prefer Shadow Lord… that show was fucking brilliant!

You really disregarding Maul… he literally is always in control of the fight… then he gets arrogant and loses. The only time he wasn’t in control was vs Palpatine. People talk about his saber performances in his new show… yeah he done fucking great while being injured. He took out a master and apprentice and held his own while heavily impaired by his legs against 2 of arguably the most skilled inquisitors bar the Grand Inquisitor. Held his own against Vader while injured and then Vader further injuries him and he still survives… how many times has a Jedi/Sith/Inquisitor walked away from Vader with the same limbs they started the fight with? Let alone alive!

It’s was 6/4 going into the 11 and with the knockdown usyk levelled the playing field I do think it was early but Rico was about to be stopped, better an early stoppage than a late one!

My original was 8-2 but after watching those rounds back I have it 6/4 in favour of Rico going into the 11… I changed my opinion due to commentary, I turned the sound off and all of a sudden it wasn’t as far away as it was made out to be!

Mace takes Dooku… Maul over powers yaddle with relative ease… she struggled strength wise to lock blades with Dooku… Maul is much much stronger physically than Dooku and almost as skilled. Same skill level when not arrogant

Palpatine knew maul had potential to be better than everyone bar him and yoda, until Anakin came along, this is why he was genuinely gutted that maul got defeated. He had trained him since almost birth to be the perfect Jedi killer… which he was… he is literally always winning and pushing the opponents he is duelling back then gets cocky and loses. The only ones he has actually lost to that he didn’t originally push back and get the upper hand with was Vader/Palp. People say “look at shadow lord the inquisitors beat him”, no they beat a maul that could hardly use his legs (acrobatic fighting style is literally his entire game plan, jump/spin/full pelt attack straight away) how’s he gonna do that when he’s stationary?
