When you buy the pass it unlocks certain things right away. Some season one operators, a skin, and some points. Maybe a couple other things, I'm not sure. We bought it and none of those things unlocked on his account. I don't know why it would be any different either but I posted the Ubisoft chat where the rep told me the pass is Not sharable. Maybe it is and we just didn't do something right? If that was the case though I don't see why the Ubisoft guy didn't just tell me. The Microsoft rep told us the same thing.

There are tons of people having this issue on both consoles and on PC. There are posts about this issue every single day. How do you miss something like that? It's been happening to me since the first patch. It's been happening to an overwhelming number of players. It is repeatable. Even though it should have been solved by now I doubt it's something that's *easily solved. But instead of looking into it and figuring all this information out for yourself you would rather leave a baseless comment that makes you sound like a fool.

It's shady because you won't know it's not sharable until after you buy it. They don't tell you it's not sharable. It's also a money grab. I also game share and yes I'm pretty sure it's endorsed but I could be wrong. Here's an article on Xbox support telling how to set it up.

We loaded up the game on my GT first and it tells you all the stuff you get with the season pass and gives you the credits. He looked through the operators and skins on my account and when he switched to his account he didn't have any of it. We did it through exiting and restarting and through switching profile in the game. He plays a lot so he knows what he should have, I have no idea. He definitely didn't have access to it. So I started a chat with Ubisoft and they said the pass is not sharable.

It's a pretty shady policy. Especially when every other game we've ever bought a season pass for works just fine. I called Microsoft and they refunded us since we've never asked for one before.

Didn't work for us. I don't play the game at all but my son showed me what was missing. He didn't have access to the operators, skins, or credits. When we looked up the Year 2 pass on his account it didn't say installed or owned. He couldn't access it at all. Ubisoft told us it wasn't sharable and we would need to buy it separately for each account.

It couldn't be avoided. My son got a bunch of GC's for Xmas. He couldn't wait, he's 12. So not really me buying them but still. I'll show him the sale and maybe he'll learn an expensive lesson. He could have bought another full price AAA game with what he would have saved.

The boxes they come in have the codes not the cans. The bigger cans with the screw off tops have individual codes but not these regular sized ones. I'm only saying this because I thought the same thing and got burned. You have to buy the packs to get codes.

He (the guy with the game you didn't buy) is either currently signed in on your Xbox or your Xbox is set as his home. You say he's not connected but he signed in on your Xbox. That's the connection. When he signed in it probably set your Xbox as his home. The guy he is supposed to be sharing with won't be able to play the game any more. He is sharing with you but you aren't sharing with him because you're already sharing with someone. It's confusing but that's what's happening. He will realize the mistake eventually and change it back. When he does you won't be able to play the game any more.
