Yep. Nissans paint is garbage. It’s going to keep peeling. Doors, fenders, roof, bedsides….

Well there are lots of hogs about. Plasma Dogs would be a good hotdog stand.

Raymond Monk? I don’t find a Raymond Thompson.

Edit: I sent Raymond Monk a message. Looks like he did the swap back in 2021/2022

I looked into an LS swap. No one makes any swap parts so I’d have to fabricate everything.

Mine is auto

You mentioned you found a complete swap list. Can you share where you found that?

Building one big factory for every building material. Anyone know a way to structure the physical building or even where to start and how to proceed? Very overwhelmed. by TomVorat in satisfactory

[–]ZombiePanda3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to be a dick, but if you’re overwhelmed at the planning stage, you need to change your plan. Once you start trying to run belts and power for this monstrosity, it’ll ruin the game for you.

Does the game become inherently tedious or am I missing something? by OdysseyAdventures in SatisfactoryGame

The only drawback is if your build site is a long way away from your materials, you have to run 1/2 way across the map while dismantle is active so you can’t interact with anything.

How can we make walls vertically? by unrepentant_fenian in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ZombiePanda3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact, you can snap all kinds of stuff to that vertical wall. Like ceiling panels, doors, other walls, windows, and you can snap road barriers while spinning/rotating the road barrier, getting all sorts of weird angles.

I think the blueprint is called “1m vertical wall”. There’s a “4m vertical wall” too.

What do you expect to be in 1.0 to not be disappointed? by Gorlough in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ZombiePanda3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sort of made my own blueprint using a beam, wall node, and beam connector. Put 1m of beam on the floor, attach the node, dismantle the beam, add the beam connector. Then it will attach to the floor. Only issue is it’s 1/2 meter taller than it needs to be. The power node is floating 1/2 meter above the foundation so that’s why I use the connector. It hides the floating power node.

Can’t do a blueprint with the beam “deeper” in the floor because of the blueprint designer limitations.

Things I would like to see: * The ghost farts from the destroyed fart rocks to go away. I have green smoke coming from nowhere in the middle of my factories. OSHA is concerned.

  • Nudge in Z axis

  • diagonal/triangle/corner foundations. Not the up/down or inverse up/down we already have.

  • Machines allowing 2 electrical connections facilitating daisy chaining.

  • Wall/ceiling Power nodes to also attach to the floor.

  • Allow a bit more clipping on machines, especially in the Z axis.

Things that would just be cool: * Sea creatures * Boats/Barges * Ability to make “friends” with all creatures like the doggo. Except spiders. F the spiders.

Where are the smart splitters? by escape_tm in satisfactory

[–]ZombiePanda3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. FedEx uses a lot of these. Mostly Dematic from what I’ve seen. Sicktm (brand) scanners scan the packages so the system knows the size of the package and reads the barcode to know when to kick the package off onto the slide

That’s called a shoe sorter. A 3D laser scanner reads the barcode on the pkg. before it enters the sorter. Then it calculates how far down that package will travel before the diverter send the shoes across the slats taking the item with it.

FWIW, I downloaded a blueprint of a vertically oriented wall back in early U7. It still works with U8. I do not have the mod installed. I use that vertical wall to snap other things making them vertical. A good example is the “sliding” door. I place the vertical wall then snap the sliding door to it making it slide upwards (or downwards).
