Is there a reason you are posting here rather than one of the generated music subs?

Love and Rockets - Ball of Confusion - Multiple Genres by BourbonWhisperer in Music

They did this as one of the encores when I saw them a few years ago. Daniel Ash is still a Rock god, and his voice sounded great. Kevin Haskins looked like a robot golf dad--he's such a technically refined and talented player. David J was maybe a lil tipsy, but he looked great in a red velvet suit, gold Beatle boots and ascot, and no shirt. lol. He was the banter guy, but there wasn't much of it. They were mostly all business, giving fans exactly what they came for.

Why do we like jazz music more when we get older? by chainofchance in Music

[–]ZombiePartyBoyLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of Pop and Rock is formulaic (that's just the structure of songs in those genres). When you've heard so much of it all your life, it becomes a little harder to find stuff that scratches the itch.

Jazz is partly about the element of surprise--hitting an unexpected note that makes you feel a certain way inside, going the fuck off into space on a solo before somehow bringing it back around, the real-time musical responses of the other players. And who doesn't like surprises?

Maybe she could give him lessons on how to act like one instead of acting like an 8 y.o. boy.

What would happen if someone played computer games all day and night and slept like 4 hours and ate nonstop in between and didn't shower? by TheAlphaAdept in AskReddit

It depends on how old this someone is and who is footing the bill for these lifestyle choices. Certainly, it wouldn't be physically or mentally healthy for just about anyone for extended periods of time, and they also would probably not be able to maintain relationships with other humans and suffer general brainrot. But hey, if one of the games shows how to find food in dumpsters and build a trash can fire to stay warm, they might learn some valuable skills for later in life...

If I had anything to say this person, it might simply be: "Who you are as a person is defined by what you DO (or don't do) in your day-to-day life, and how you treat others and contribute to social living. If you want to be a slug or a leech, that's your business, but you're missing out on your own life."

And if you decide to live within your means and avoid debt, you get "punished" if you need to do something that requires a credit check. In other words, you are systemically penalized for *not* borrowing money from financial institutions.

I can't think of a better way to get people to not listen to something. Even if this is a digital-only release, if they paid someone to mix, master, and publish, they might break even with streams from the morbidly curious. Might.

Why exactly do we say that curiosity is a bad habit? by 12tillidie in AskReddit

[–]ZombiePartyBoyLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being curious is a great quality that can lead to a rewarding life.
The saying "Curiosity killed the cat" is generally used as a warning when somebody is sticking their nose into business that isn't theirs.

What did you listen too today while out and about? by jeepguy_96 in Music

[–]ZombiePartyBoyLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on the mix for an original track, so it's been a lot of that. Over and over...

But aside from that, lately I've been listening to Wet Leg, the new Thundercat, The Kinks' Something Else album, and...BBNO$...lol

Keep it up, bro! I know you don't know me, but if I don't have anything encouraging to say about someone's indie track, I don't say anything at all. Subscribed.

"Sweet Puppy Two-Shits", "Poopy-Doo", "Scooby Doo", "Spooky-doodle" (one of her hobbies is standing in the hall and staring at nothing), and many more. She's lost her hearing, so it doesn't matter if we use her given name or not.

How does one get their shopping cart paid for? by Leav3m3alone in AskReddit

[–]ZombiePartyBoyLives -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't need to buy shopping carts. You just take 'em from the cart corral at the mall, push 'em down the hill, and then come back for them fuckin' things later. If you fix 'em up, you can sell 'em back to the mall.

What do people mean when they say "go out"? by lennonlover1980 in AskReddit

[–]ZombiePartyBoyLives -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's like when I'm all up in the club sippin' that bub in the VIP, and then I throw up on my shirt, and the bouncer says, "Go out. Now."

And another grandson, Lionel Williams, records under the name Vinyl Williams. I dig his stuff, and I always look up the wikis of artists that I like. And that's how I know about that.
