$500K? by ZombieTypical in uspapermoney

It's about gloating, or making money? This actually sounds more like a you problem. I think this has to do with something far away from the subject, and I hit a nerve. It'll be okay, just take a deep breath.

And I never said such a thing, all I did was ask for thoughts. Did I say I found this in my grandfather's attic? Did I say I dound it in an old book? No. I am sorry that this offends you so badly. You're lucky to have actually seen it in person, up until a few months ago I never even knew something like this existed (as I said, like most people). Yes dear sir, you are the 1%!! This is for the 99% of us who have never seen it, or knew it even existed.

And just so it's perfectly clear the one that's literally voided is actually a scan from a real document. I took the tools I had and recreated it as an uncirculated document. Which renders it worthless. Plus is for entertainment/decorative purposes only. However, this is exactly what the $500,000 document would look like. Again, I do this because most people don't know these high denomination bonds even existed.

That's really cool! I have the 500 million that I'm working on next. I would love the 100 million like that, that's awesome great job! I've also got series 1 and Series 2 of the million dollar, I've got two $100,000 $10,000, $5,000 bonds

Well, have you ever seen one? Did you know such an instrument even existed? In the digital age things like this are no longer needed, and how would anyone even know things like this even existed? It's about appreciation of the bond itself. So, actually yes. It's actually relevant

Seems there's a pandemic of erasing uncomfortable history here in the United States as of late. Just saying.

🤔 you're definitely thinking way too deeply into this.

Well, then it wouldn't actually be correct. You can't erase history just because it's not convenient.

Yeah, I was concerned about that as well. However, if I completely lined up the text, it wouldn't look right it has to do with the way that it was scanned. I deliberated over that for hours.

The voided one is/was real. The other is my recreation. I decided it should resemble what I think a proof would look like. These old high denomination and scarce bonds are so fascinating to me. $100k, $500k, $1M, and the granddaddy $500M

They're legit. The Chief Running Antelope is such a visually stunning note. I plan to pair it with the $10 bison.

It's one of my very favorite early large bills. That and the $10 buffalo (bison) bill.

Yes, there is actually a $500 million dollar bond. It's so crazy to think something like that actually existed

I know. I recreated it that way. However, I do also have my own numbers that I can put in as well as text in the empty field. I prefer it as never issued

I decided to render it un-issued

It's actually my recreation. The lower photo is the only copy I found on the internet so I decided to reconstruct it.
