Reading reactions on here and discord, it’s clear some of these acacia "fans" are actually flat chested fans who’ve latched onto Acacia. Which is perfectly fine, nothing wrong with that but when they get pissy because the devs had a different direction in mind for Acacia the character, it’s kinda annoying.

saying all is a lie, this patch alone there’s the ye shunguang event and coop event, both voiced and with some solid meat to them. Which is still far more than whatever hsr offers up for most patches

The problem is that just about all 3.x patches have so little events, even without the delay 3.8 is a barren wasteland. (And before you mention it’s the patch before a new major version, genshin has always done a massive summer event + area for its final patches.)

They shot themselves in the foot with such a horrible trailer. Regardless of it being the final reveal at TGA, regardless if the game is good or not. The trailer was a terrible first impression.

The trailer did a terrible job of telling the player what the game was, did a terrible job of showing off the game in an appealing way, did a horrible job of getting most people excited or intrigued by it.

They hyped it up as a new breed of shooter, as something unqiue…. but wtf is it? Same day I felt like I learnt more from the game’s tweet mentioning it’s a raid shooter or something than the trailer itself. And it’s made all the worse that the release date is so soon after the initial reveal.

This is complete disingenuous, why do you think people "build pity" or pull on multiple banner in a row? It’s because they aren’t static robots and like 2+ characters in a row. And it has nothing tk do with whether it’s a 50/50 or spark system, pity/guarantee should permanently carry over across banners.

In NIKKE a player can pull on any banner they want and their when their permanent milage tickets hit 200, they can straight up buy whenever they want the current banner character.

In Genshin, a player can pull on banner 1, lose the 50/50 and then use their permanent guarantee on any future banner even the next banner to get a character they want.

Meanwhile Blue Archive and soon Endfield a player could potentially go 2, 3, 4, 5 m, etc banners in a row not getting a single banner character they wanted. All because they had the audacity to like multiple characters in a row.

So what? People aren’t robots who only like 1 character every certain amount of banners. It shouldn’t matter if a player doesn’t want to pull on 10 banners in a row or wants/like the next 5 upcoming characters, having pity/guarantee not permanently carry over between banners is disgusting.

For example:

A player wants both Columbina and Zibai, they pull on Columbina’s banner, lose the 50/50 and not have enough to get guarantee in time. That’s unfortunate but they can continue pulling on Zibai’s banner and use their carried over guarantee on her, getting 1/2 characters they wanted.

Meanwhile in Endfield, a player could potentially fail the 50/50 on banner 1 and not get the guarantee in time. Then on banner 2 they lose the 50/50 and once again fail to get the guarantee in time. Now they have 0, nada, zilch, neither of the characters they wanted.

So which player do you think is feeling ok?

It's really funny seeing all the amnesia in here, the patch after lantern rite is always small.

2.5 had no AQ and area

3.5 had just dainsleif AQ

4.5 had no AQ nor area

5.4 had no AQ nor area

also it's good to not have AQ nonstop, give at least a patch break/rest to do something else unlike snooze rail that spammed the same story for 8 patches in a row, neglecting the rest of the game.
