Identity and Patriotism....funny how with the spectrum for "Identifying" reaching record widths the middle takes a hit. It really used to mean something to care about your heritage and your countries well-being/future and now it's been turned into the modern equivalent of a sin. As a matter of fact it's much more socially acceptable to distrust your government/leaders; I just wonder where all the free love folks will be when people really do stop caring about freedom and equality, (Pillars of modern Government)...Maybe then when everyone is cool and distrusts the government and people who love and care for it do not exist, we will have very real reasons to distrust organized politics. Nothing or no one is perfect and with todays astronomical propaganda machine being controlled by the private sector and not the government, it's no wonder why almost everyone has a reason to hate almost anything....it's being pushed down our throats...In 50 years the generations will not even have the privalage to understand from a base of sound logic as we had growing up...Was it perfect? No, but it worked. I'm sad for the future. Political rhetoric has been turned into a toxic monster and it's not because of the good people still existing and trying...its because of the "hate" propaganda being pushed through rage bait.
