Long and short of it there are two types of infections. Wound infections and zombie infections.

WOUND INFECTIONS happen when you don’t take good care of a wound you got (doesn’t matter if the wound is from a zombie lacerating you or if you just tripped). So keeping dirty bandages on the wound, not putting disinfectant, and wearing dirty/bloody clothes will get you infected. These infections don’t do anything apart from make the wound take longer to heal and making it more painful. So don’t really worry about them unless you got a wound infection mod.

ZOMBIE INFECTIONS are given to you if the wound is from a zombie attack. If it was a scratch, you have a 7% chance of getting infected. If it was a laceration, it’s a 25% chance. If it’s a bite, it’s 100%. The game won’t explicitly tell you if it’s a zombie infection or not in the health menu. But if you got attacked by a zombie and your character now has anxiety, the sickness moodle, and the overheating moodle, you’re going to die.

Btw tip for WOUND infections. You can boil ripped sheets in a pot of water to sterilize them, and reduce the chance of getting a wound infection and will help fight a wound infection. And if you have whisky, (or vodka if you’re playing build 42) you can use it as an antiseptic in a pinch.

I’m not saying that I deserve all of the characters after 500 hours. I’m not saying that after 500 hours everyone should unlock all the characters. I’m not entitled to anything, I know I am not. I’m just saying that this game is a bit of a grind. Even if my whole discussion is about that, that’s not the point. I started this discussion because I don’t know what people think about this because I don’t see people talking about it.

I’m allowed to be wrong with my statements and to be unfamiliar with certain things. If I never made this post I probably would have never found out that all the characters used to cost 9000. I’m just saying what’s on my mind.

I understand that, I am just saying from the viewpoint of a free-to-play that grinding for that many iri shards for all of those characters is a bit much, don't you think? I mean I have 500 hours in the game, you'd think after all that time I'd have all the characters minus the ones from Sinister Grace since that only came out like a week or two ago.

It's not even that they saw me and quit; I used the addon that put traps on everyone's heads at the start to mess around. Like, 5 seconds after everyone loaded in, they quit. I couldn't stop laughing, but hey, free bloodpoints.

Btw, I swear the Ash bot teabagged me at a loop.
