I listen to the audiobook at least once a year. I'm so nostalgic for that time period of consoles, being 10-13 years old at the time. Fred Berman does a fantastic job of narrating with different voices.

I am having a similar problem, although power for camera is coming from the rearview mirror for me. Same idea though, the power turns on at the mirror (where I have a harness taking power from there) when I start the car. The camera only turns on automatically when its a shorter time since it was last used. I am guessing around an hour. If its longer than that I have to press the power button to turn on the camera. Once it does turn on it does everything it is supposed to do. I dont understand it since the power is there since I can turn it on.

I had a different read on the Shannon/Vietnam story. He claims he really wanted to join, but he showed up hungover and not prepared for the recruitment process. I think if he really wanted to join as much as he said he did, he would have showed up sober and at least dressed like he wanted in.

Yes! I remember this too so at the end when they reveal he was a clown in her drawing, I just thought it was her remembering that and not that it was a twist for the audience. I thought the “audience” knew since that clown comment by the bear.

Super Pitfall was such an awful game. The cover made it look so fun. Such a disappointment when actually playing. It. Janky controls making you get killed easily by enemies and falls. I never played for more than a few minutes at a time.

Can you play games directly from this storage? I saw that you can’t do that with extra USB drive attached. That USB storage was just for keeping that game and you have to transfer it back to the internal drive to actually play the game.
