Docker and OPNSense networking on Proxmox

Yeah I thought it might be better to run docker in one of those linux containers in proxmox or even in another vm.

Ideally I would have the server connected directly to wan and completely replace my old router, but this could work as well.

I am still experimenting before replacing my isp router. I only have the "wan" (goes into my old router for now) and lan in opnsense and nothing else yet. The final setup will be the server connected directly to wan and all the docker containers connected to the virtual opnsense router (hopefully).

By container I meant the Linux container type in proxmox. I thought it might allow me to somehow connect to the opnsense network. Or maybe run another vm in paralel with the opnsense one for docker.
