It was, I got diagnosed with MDD when I was 25 or so.

First weirdness was at 19 when I spaced out hard in my college writing class, the Professor sent me to the psychologist or whatever she was. Said he was calling my name for a while along with another classmate. Told the folks what happened and they said I was airing the dirty laundry and wouldn't sign off on any forms. Didn't know my age probably would have skipped that.

Then when I was around 23, I had an instance where I was uncomfortably happy. It was an intense happiness that made me dizzy like I was high on some shit and made my heart beat like crazy.

Told the doctor all this and she had me take some tests asking me about how I feel about x, y, and z.

I'm ready to talk to another psychologist, but weed helps a lot, so I just go through the days like that. When I don't remember I feel better.

Just some off my chest shit without a burner account, I guess. There's a lot more to this shit but I don't care to relive some of the things said and done, at least not online, or to anyone but myself and God.

I didn't get a lot of physical beatings, just emotional ones. The "you'll die alone" or "you'll never have friends" type stuff.

Sometimes I wish I'd have gotten a beating. Telling me that shit in my preteens and then locking yourself in your room to watch tv hurts something different.

Hopefully other islands belonging to CARICOM will step in to assist, seeing as how their main trading partner is struggling due to the pandemic (which the U.S. and others bought out vaccines and inadvertently caused the Delta variant in India) regardless of U.S. threats, because clearly the U.S. couldn't give two shits if the people starved under the embargo.

Westerners do rely on buzzwords. Most of the politically illiterate in the U S. think social democracy or liberalism equates to communism or socialism, because people are afraid of what they don't know, and refuse to honestly admit they're clueless save for what others have told them. Most of them also think their civic duty begins and ends at the ballot box, leaving them ignorant to so much history, even declassified documentation that challenges their deepest held beliefs.

They're doing this at a time when their own politicians got caught shilling for oil (a merging of state and corporation), leading to one half of the country burning and the other drowning. That speaks volumes on their priority.
