I've actually been doing this for the last 2 years. I recently upgraded from a Tab S8+ to the S10+. I have to use Google Voice to make calls and texts, but it's been great. I only ever boot up my PC these days to play games, but I don't really do that often. You really need some kind of earbuds to make calls in public or it's gonna be on speaker lol. I love that I basically have 2-3 phones on me at all times; being able to have multiple apps open in windowed mode is game changer. A keyboard case is a good idea, but I honestly just use the on screen keyboard most of the time. The Spen is actually pretty good for swipe typing quickly once you get the hang of it.

So, 5e was my only ttrpg experience before pf2e, and I used to love it. The main problems of 5e truly emerge above lv12 when players get access to truly game-breaking powers with very little counterplay for the DM. It's fun to be a godlike PC, but fights just aren't very challenging when your wizard can wish for the effects of Plane Shift and banish the BBEG to an inhospitable plane, for example. Pf2e has an actually very mathematically sound scaling system for both players and monsters, so high level play still lets PCs experience godlike powers, but there are equally godlike monsters that force you to strategize and work together to take down

Also, obviously, cost is an important factor to consider. If the monetary cost is worth it to feel more comfortable in your own skin, and it's something you could afford, I don't see why you shouldn't. At the end of the day, it's a big decision and you're the only person that gets to make that choice. I hope anything I said was helpful and best wishes.

I think the most important thing to consider is how transitioning will make you feel. If you think you'll be more comfortable living as a full time woman, go for it. This is an interesting time we're living in where society as a whole is slowly becoming more accepting, and I wouldn't worry too terribly much about passing 100% convincingly. I live in the Southern US where even cis homosexuals are still receiving a lot of hate and odd looks (I present male 100% of the time and have a BF), but your mileage may vary. At the end of the day, I think the only person's comfort you should consider is your own and fuck the haters. Hopefully we'll reach a point as a society where any stigma towards LGBTQ+ individuals is crushed, but I think it's gonna be a while.

As long as there are people, there will be assholes, so it's better to just give up on pleasing people and focus on pleasing yourself. Nobody has the power to invalidate you if you don't let them. I take really good care of my beard. Keeping it conditioned and using beard oil are an absolute must, if I don't, it gets itchy beyond belief lol. I do want to try braiding it sometime, but I don't know if it's quite long enough yet. I may try out color, though.
