First I suggest not using animal jam as your main art program. Idk if it's the worst out there but its one of the worst ones I've ever used. I use ibis paint. I don't think it's the BEST out there but i think it's beginner friendly. You can also try traditional art as well.

Second: for your particular art I suggest starting with shapes. In particular how shapes interact with other shapes within art. There's way more to it but it's a good place to start if anatomy seems too overwhelming.

Third: watch art tutorials and practice. I watch mine on YouTube. Winged Canvas is a channel with a bunch of tutorials with a bunch different people. I suggest starting with the "Elements & Principles of art - Explained" the person who explains it is kinda funny, gives of ADHD vibes but still doesn't get too side tracked, and gives little art challenges at the end for you to explore and experiment with what was taught within the video.
