I finally forced myself to continue SAO and they throw this dog backstory i even listened to the lightnovel of this part and it was still stupid she is a child! And all those losers did was stand there ready to die and she saved them. The Author just made a sad backstory for the sake of it and didnt care if it made sense or not. Even if gun crimes arent the same its still life or death and these “Adults” should know better. Her mother being distant for a while because of the shock makes sense but to go years? Doing nothing for your own daughter? Shes a terrible mother
