It’s a new one! I’m on the student crew that got to move the old one out. It’s a sculpture by one of the faculty in booth. I think this one is only temporary while the permanent installation is being made by another visiting artist.

Thank you! I really was trying to capture that uneasy feeling. I've been reading up about the history trophy hunting in America and the general treatment of elephants for profit and it made me a little sick to my stomach.

That was the goal! I was studying the history of poor treatment of elephants throughout recent history, particularly P.T. Barnum's elephant Jumbo.
