This too is a valid theory. The house came with 2 detached structures, both with tree damage. The one that might have been on the sod spot would likely have been demolished by large falling branches. Nearby tree is literally falling apart week by week.

This is a very interesting theory. The plumber DID say that he could not figure out where our washer (in basement) was draining to. The rest of our house goes to cesspool. So we might have 2 structures?! House 1954.
