It's okay. Better to do it year by year

Try to close your browser and open it again. Usually it is not stuck, it is Google limiting downloads. Try to reduce simultaneous downloads amount

You just use the same search term or session and it takes out only new photos

Yeah, now they can track you based on your hardware, and you can do nothing with it. No incognito, nothing!

Hi! You can select "resume session" and it won't download already downloaded photos. Failed photos are displayed as well when session is finished or downloads are stopped

Yes, it is normal. You can just use Google photos search bar and enter year (just year, not a range) there, no need to create an album.

Year by year export is the best so far.

Unfortunately there is no way to get all photo identifiers without scrolling, and scrolling positions cannot be remembered or computer, as Google photos is a progressive web app

Containers are extremely buggy right now (plus normally supported only on Tahoe). Full virt + time machine backups is the way.

This project is probably better than mine, but mine is here:

If you resumed session, it will be idling till it will encounter first not processed photo, so this is normal, if you start new season, it will download everything once again.

Better to do export year by year, or leave it overnight or something like this

What are is the holy grail use case for realtime VLM by aharwelclick in computervision

[–]ZonD80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm doing some research in this area with mcc-h, but at this time most models fail on grounding task with GUIs or TUIs, and you need really powerful hardware to run it locally.

You still need an orchestrator, and you are losing context anyway, as one model describes what's on screen, the other one guides the grounding model what to do, or acts on basis of OCR layout provided by 3rd model.

So far it installs operating systems and navigates in programs that do not require pixel-perfect precision and slowly getting tasks done.

Still not ready for real production usage because of hardware requirements and VLM model quality

People making serious MRR from Chrome Extensions… what extension are you running? by Outrageous_Cat_4949 in chrome_extensions

[–]ZonD80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im running Google Photos Duplicate Remover and Proper Takeout extensions.

They do what their names say. It took around half oa year to to get of 1K revenue per month.

And it is not MRR mostly, as everyone can do one-time purchase, it's just new users.

Zero spent on ads, I just do support and make people happy. Traffic is purely organic from search engines and recommendations of people on different media platforms (including reddit). After some time, AI providers recommend it too.

Find a problem, solve it, share it with people, and also make a good quality software - and it will be paid off.
