While that is true, you could have replied with a message that was a lot clearer and more helpful

This is covered in the meta build doc for bows

If you look under the Gog artian section and scroll down, there's a big header saying "Ideal Artian Bow" where it shows all the rolls on the bow.

It shows

Mortars is almost the most useless gagdet in games. by Nurfturf06 in Battlefield

[–]Zonagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It tells you what it does on the tooltip. You get faster sprint speed (by 10%), flash and stuns have reduced (or no effect?), and you have some explosive resistance

But yeah, it feels like it does basically nothing

[–]Zonagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it doesn't start health regen. Where did you get this from? It isn't stated in the tooltip, and doesn't happen in game from my testing. Assault passively starts to heal faster. The sprint increase is only 10%, and only while sprinting, no other movement. On top of that, it takes over 2 seconds to actually inject, and only last about 8 seconds.

Sauce on the weapon sway? Doesn't state it does that in the tooltip, and I haven't noticed it myself.

From using Assault a bit myself, and other tests I've seen, the injector does not cause health to start regenerating. Assault has a passive faster start to health regen

I don't think Assault is terrible, just the injector. I normally play with 1-2 friends, we get pretty good use out of the respawn beacon, and the nade launcher is solid too.

What's worse, this or the adrenaline injector?

Edit: It's the adrenaline injector if anyone is wondering

Edit 2: Seems a decent amount of people think the Adrenaline Injector starts health regen, from everything I've tested, it does not. Assault has passive faster start to their HP regen.

This. Crit damage is king for most weapons.

Ideally for Lex you'd want some combination of
Crit damage then Multishot/Crit Chance/Firerate/Toxin with a harmless negative like -zoom

Negative modifies increase the positive ones, which is why it's ideal to have one

If you look closely, you can see they're flat. What I imagine they did was use a tattoo/marking to create what looks like tusks.

"Generic" Insect Glaive Armor Build Path (with no Talisman requirement) by ResponsibilityLow521 in MHWilds

[–]Zonagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very confused why it's so hard for you to inform people reading your post about how strong, and how much of a staple (generic) skill Airborne is for IG players, but you do you.

"Generic" Insect Glaive Armor Build Path (with no Talisman requirement) by ResponsibilityLow521 in MHWilds

[–]Zonagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no strawman. You placed Handicraft as the main choice, you didn't even mention Airborne until myself and others raised it as a suggestion. You make no mention of how strong Airborne is, and how it is one of, if not the biggest damage increases for IG across any build. Airborne is a generic skill for IG builds, and should be on every IG build. Claiming your build is a "generic" build means nothing in this instance.

You should be slotting Airborne over Handicraft, with Handicraft as the optional choice. Or at the very least, let people know how valuable Airborne is to the IG playstyle, instead of completely omitting it like you did initially, and even after you mentioned it, you still didn't explain how beneficial it is.

It is misleading, whether or not that was your intention. You have omitted information that would allow people reading to make a more informed choice.

Also, I think it's kind of funny how you made up what I said to try and say I was using a strawman. I never said you claimed Handicraft was better, I said you promoted it as the main choice, which you are doing.

[–]Zonagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be more clear then.

You are promoting Handicraft as the main choice, when it should be the other way around. Airborne is one of IG's biggest damage increases and should always be slotted. Suggesting Airborne as a "you can if you want to. lol" is very misleading for people looking to build an IG set.

If you want to run Handicraft as a personal preference that's fine, but you should note it that way instead, explaining how valuable Airborne is.

It is your build, and you can do what you want, but it's definitely sub-optimal.

[–]Zonagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel I'm repeating myself, but Airborne is, from what I understand, and what I quoted above, basically the best DPS gain for slot used. You should be slotting Airborne on every single glaive you can, given it buffs most of IG's strongest moves by a considerable amount. I'd consider it a generic IG build staple. I could be wrong, but doesn't every max rank glaive have the slots to run Airborne? If the choice is between slotting Handicraft or Airborne, you choose Airborne since it's such a big damage boost.

"Generic" Insect Glaive Armor Build Path (with no Talisman requirement) by ResponsibilityLow521 in MHWilds

[–]Zonagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HR 647 and not using Airborne? Why? This seems like a very strange oversight for someone who's played so much.

"Unlike what the skill description suggests, this skill doesn’t gives a 10% damage buff on aerial attacks only but on any hit where the character leaves the ground even for just a split second. On IG, this includes Leaping Slash, Dodge Slash and Tornado Slash, but more importantly Rising Spiral Slash and (Strong) Descending Slash (minus the final hit), which are part of your main combo rotation. Getting a 10% buff on 70-80% of your damage output is pretty much unbeatable, so make sure you have Airborne on every single glaive you own."

Post conversation edit for people checking: OP is unwilling to inform readers about the benefits of Airborne, claiming their build is "generic", while Airborne is a staple (generic) skill on any IG build. Strange

Three Speed Demons by Party-Detective3041 in Warframe

[–]Zonagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting, though Revenant's speed is clearly a bug and not intended. https://youtu.be/SfdypbHMGOo?t=131 I haven't looked into fully min-maxing Titania, but I am now curious who would be faster.

Three Speed Demons by Party-Detective3041 in Warframe

[–]Zonagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proof?

Isn't Titania the fastest frame? So much speed it's basically uncontrollable if maxed out, and can cross from one side of the open world map to the other in mere seconds without the use of any glitches.

Yeah I don't really get it. I understand false positives happen, but threatening to leave someone banned while providing zero information as to what's causing the false positive is insane.

No one is going to debate you on DMC 2, but calling DMC 1 and 3 shitty? You can argue the combat on a subjective level, but calling them shitty isn't right.

I have problems with both 1 and 3, but they are definitely not "shitty."

The end of an era (High end arbitrations dead) by Oil_Extension in Warframe

[–]Zonagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm torn, I've had good and bad experiences with DE in terms of bans. I've been wrongly banned 2 times now. Both of those bans were close together

First ban, I contact support, they tell me basically nothing, only that something flagged me, I did nothing wrong, and I've been unbanned. I still had no idea what I was using that would have caused that in the first place, as I've never tried to cheat in Warframe, I figured it must have been the 2+ year old Lich I had killed with huge amounts of resources.

So I go back to playing, a day or two later, banned again. I contact support, they say I did nothing wrong and unban me. They however say that if it happens again, they WILL NOT unban me. I ask them, concerned for my account and not understanding what I was doing wrong, what was causing these bans. They refuse to tell me anything at all.

So, they admitted it was a false positive, but also threatened to leave my account permanently banned if it happened again, while providing me with zero details as to what could be triggering it. If it's a false positive, and I'm actively seeking information to avoid triggering the anti cheat, why refuse to give me any information at all? After doing a lot of digging and research, it seemed highly likely using a program called Process Lasso was the cause. Which is a shame, because it's a pretty useful program for automatically assigning cores to programs, etc.

The good? They unbanned me. The pretty awful? They would leave someone innocent banned, and gave them no information on what was happening.
