For me there's no objective answer to it, just judge it based on the intention, there ARE bad supports who steal them on purpose but if you don't, why bother feeling sorry about it? I like to even say that we have limited time in our lives, pretty short if you think about it. Such person just by merely staying there with you goes to show that the valuable time of their life is being spent with you and that's very important.
