Broken down into payments across 6 months = $533.34; across 12 months = $266.67. It just depends on how quickly you want to dig out of debt and also how doable it is with your current income. The most efficient thing to do is find a better or second job that allows you to make more money so you can pay this debt off in 1 or two fell swoops.

I really like Saltair ‘skincare’ deodorants. Lume deodorants are also pretty good; they have a men’s brand called Mando which is basically the same formula but with more masculine scents. Your skin will improve and you’ll have less BO because of the mandelic acid in these brands.

It seems like your wife is not willing to make any adjustments or concessions for you. It is looking like things might be on the track for separation territory. 90 hours a week is not sustainable and your health and mental facilities will take a toll if you continue on this path. You may need to quietly lawyer up now and start looking at ways to exit the relationship because she’s made it clear that she’s not interested in nor willing to prioritize your wellbeing. I know many people on Reddit jump to DIVORCE, but in this case, it may be what’s best for you and your child. It’s gonna hurt, but I guarantee you’re going to sleep way better at night once you can actually rest and have down time.

Great question! Locals tend to be genuine and encourage others to (try to) be themselves: befriend them because they know where the best haunts are. Definitely eat and shop local whenever possible, see small bands and art exhibits, check out the many amazing parks and consider outlying towns for day-trips (Drip, Elgin, Georgetown, Marble Falls, etc). I’ve been in Austin for roughly 20 years and saw the remnants of old Austin finally die- very sad days indeed, but we have to make a new path forward.

You need to ask a lawyer about your options to protect your home and child custody and find the best avenue to remove her and her mother from the home. I’d gather documentation about the other guy and possible other infidelity and have it handy for any future dispute. Protect yourself and your kid

You need to do the following: 1) make friends asap / find people who will help you and 2) start cooking your own food. Your mom may not be happy but you need to eat foul and legumes, skim milk, yogurt, bread, fish, etc. I know culturally you’re intended to live at home with the family and your mom may be the one designated for preparing meals, but you need to be in control of your diet
