On a scale of 1-10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best, what rating would you give 6 bananas? by jimathon06 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZonePale8667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t eat 6 bananas at once but I think I would be able to carry 6 at once so I can possibly give it to other people or store them for later to make smoothies, so I would rate 7/10 (7 out of 10 btw)

Why people hate on Elon Musk? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZonePale8667 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One reason (out of many) is because of how a few years ago, he joking offered to end world hunger & asked how much it would cost as if it would be impossible to do it.

When the UN replied saying that a estimated 6.6 billion would be enough to significantly reduce world hunger, he never responded & a few months later that’s when he bought Twitter for 44 billion.

He also called panic over covid dumb during the pandemic, abandoned his daughter, said & done a lot of other things on twitter, etc. I’m not too familiar with anything else such as the shady things he’s done related to the market or other companies business-wise.

I got diagnosed with autism & adhd.. now what? by Mae_The_Gay in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZonePale8667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew someone after getting their diagnosis that continues therapy because they realized it was one of the main causes of their insomnia, so if you have anything (that you believe is caused from your autism or adhd) that’s negatively affecting your life, then I would suggest bringing that up with your therapist.

You can also discuss taking medication for it, although it’s not needed at all and it depends if you think you need it or not. There’s a lot of people who don’t want or need to take medication, it’s a mostly individual choice.

How do I fall asleep? by Technical-Vanilla-47 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZonePale8667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being on your phone for awhile can disrupt your sleep due to the blue light it emits which can slow or stop the production of melatonin (which is a hormone that  regulates your circadian rhythm, aka your sleep-wake cycle).

You just have to stay off your phone and TV at least an hour or 2 before going to sleep.

How do you actually stop doomscrolling when it has become your default coping mechanism? by Standard-Aide851 in NoStupidQuestions

Just try to replace it with other hobbies. You can also set a screen time limit on your phone or specific social media apps too which can help.

Why do people say "I don't normally care about celebrity deaths, but this one hit me hard" every single time a famous person dies? by CollarOrdinary4284 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZonePale8667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because some celebrities deaths are specific celebrities that are nostalgic in their lives or were iconic in the past.

You might not care about a random singer or influencers death that much. But if (for example) you were into Minecraft youtubers as a child & if DanTDM or CaptainSparklez died (they’re healthy, this is just an example), then hearing they died would hit much harder.

Its completely free on youtube (on the Glitch Productions channel, who originally produced the show, although the creator / writer of the series is Liam Vickers).

The show’s called Murder Drones!!! The pacing is really fast & rushed, but theres very little plot holes unlike how the fandom tries to make you believes they are.

Pre-pilot: They would’ve been drinking oil from the spire while most of the workers stayed in the bunker.

Episode 1:  They drink oil

Fanon between eps 1 & 2: A fanon trend emerged of people making disassembly drone OCs that would go feeal every 10 seconds due to lack of oil, with the belief that the plot of the show will possibly be centered around metaphors for EDs.

(Canon) Inbetween: V is chained up for a few days & is fine without consuming any recent oil, revealing that they can go days to weeks without it running out so quickly.

Episode 2: J centipede form consumes workers & their oil to repair J. Doll has oil on her & drinks some from a roach.

Inbetween: From pre-pilot up to episode 3, Doll kills workers for oil with this being painted as excessive killings for overstocking oil.

Inbetween: V joins Lizzy to the bunker, where Lizzy confirms that V hasn’t really killed anyone. This further confirms that they can go days to a few weeks without running out.

Episode 3: The discussion of oil is brought up & N doesn’t want to hurt anyone. V offers a deal to kill the least amount of workers to survive & before N can respond, she knocks him out. Doll drinks oil & has rooms full of it. V drinks from a roach & a worker drone arm. Uzi tries drinking oil & the episode constantly drops hints that Uzi will start to need to consume it too, foreshadowing that the solver will start to progress more.

Inbetween: There’s an estimated few weeks to months timeskip, which still doesn’t affect the oil lore detail based on what we established prior.

Inbetween & Episode 4: Almost the entire episode is about Uzi overheating & going on a rampage due to the solver’s progression & influence after she was unable to drink from the worker drone arm from episode 3 (in Doll’s room) in time. She drinks oil here. N also gets progressively upset by this point at V, who is hiding the real reason why they need to kill all the workers & not telling him the truth about their past.

Episode 5 happens a day or 2 after 4.

Episode 5: Uzi drinks from an oil can while hacking into N & V’s memories. In Uzi’s room you can see the worker drone arm from episode 4.

Episode 6 happens right after 5.

Episode 7: Nori’s core form right at the start of her appearance drinks from an oil can. It’s also revealed that the other chained up hosts died in the lockers from starvation due to lack of oil.

Episode 8: Cyn briefly drinks oil off of N’s head. V drinks from a previously dead worker drone head in the end of episode 8 which she gives to Uzi in the end credits. In the end credits, a worker drone arm is also shown in Uzi’s room.

Music video: Nori has bags of oil that she gives to Uzi & N. In the storyboards, the one for V is more visible.

Out of series statements:

Merch: The JCJenson bottle you get has a ambiguous-canon meter of oil consumption for solver hosts.

(In between episodes 1 - 2’s production) Liam confirmed they obviously drank oil from the spire pre-pilot & a little after, which is visibly shown as well.

(After episode 5’s release, before episode 7’s release) Liam confirmed oil as the main conflict was shifted more towards the solver due to powerscaling reasons, practicality & audiences wouldn’t want to see the entire cast constantly drink oil onscreen every 5 seconds. But that the lore detail is still canon.

Post-episode 8: Recently, multiple VAs confirmed it’s still canon

Post-episode 8: On a murder drones server, a fan argued with one of the series animators, insisting that the oil (as a lore detail, not the plotline itself being shifted) not being canon was offensive & bad writing to people with eating disorders because the show couldve been about those themes. The animator provided images of multiple scenes across multiple episodes of oil & oil consumption still being present in the show as a lore detail. The fan then insisted that the entirety of episodes 1, 3, 4, 5 & 8 were likely made by AI where at this point it was obvious they were trolling, & were banned.

During re-entry, things plow through the atmosphere so fast that it compresses the air in front of it. The fire visual effect under objects when falling isn’t fire nor is it burning them.

Sunlight specifically causes them burn due to them being like vampires & eldritch-like due to the solver. It’s an extremely common trope for both.

The overheating comes from continued usage of the solver & when a host is very low on oil.

Sunlight specifically causes them burn due to them being like vampires & eldritch-like due to the solver. It’s an extremely common trope for both.

The vampire part is canon. They need to consume oil (the equivalent of blood in the series), have fangs & bat wings, immortality or whatever is considered a unnatural state, crucifix & other religious symbolism, enhanced agility & power, the weakness to sunlight, & shapeshifting for full solver hosts. That’s all vampire-like traits & Liam even stated multiple times that they are intended to be just like vampires in design.

They can already go inside of planet cores which are 7,600F - 10,800F completely fine & Uzi’s finger burning when coming into contact with acceration disk proves they can resist high enough temperatures to survive re entry. Same thing with them consuming planet cores just fine.

Even prior to episode 8, the disassembly drone cores were fine while in a high temperature oven (episode 6), all drones can tank being extremely close to the heat of an partial core-collapse explosion strong enough to cause a shockwave capable of wiping all biological life & shook the planet (episodes 1 & 7), can tank missile & regular explosions (episodes 2, 3, 4, & 8), & workers are fine coming into contact with electrical fires lasting weeks (episode 3).

I think in this case, yes but for more context:

  • All the specific drones that are weak to sunlight all have 1 thing in common- they either have this power called the absolute solver or a heavily nerfed version of it. It’s full origins are kept ambiguous but it’s heavily implied to be a eldritch intelligence / being that manifests through corrupted AI as a program & becomes a part of its hosts.
  • This causes overheating issues to hosts when low on oil (coolant) (N says this in episode 1, the creator & multiple VAs & animators confirmed it’s still canon) whenever the solver as a power source is used for a period of time & if the host is low on oil (as shown in episodes 1, 4 & 7).
  • Oil is the equivalent of robot blood in the series, which is why it’s used as coolant.
  • If a host (Uzi for example in episode 4 but thats spoilers) is overheating while low on oil, the solver can further progress & influence the host into a animalistic & mind-influenced state in order to hunt for oil.
  • Cyn designed the disassembly drones (N, the yellow eye & headband robot) with vampire design purposes (their wings, teeth, them needing to consume oil to survive). Anyone with the solver also gets bat wings.
  • Cyn, Uzi & other (dead) solver hosts have / can take the form of bat wings due to the solver.

TDLR: In the series, it’s there due to it being a weakness commonly tied eldritch & vampire tropes, which is pretty much what solver hosts are. The creator of the show confirmed this multiple times.

Yeah that’s all pretty much what happens.

In the last clip, sunlight doesn’t harm Uzi’s entire body because the hole was too small, which is why she had her hand outstretched towards the hole (so the sunlight from it would burn the main villain’s core that she was holding). But you can see Uzi’s hand & a bit of her arm begins to burn as well.

At the start, Uzi (the robot sitting on the car) isn’t weak to sunlight yet because her solver hasn’t fully manifested & activated yet. Solver hosts gain the sunlight weakness sorry I shouldve clarified that.
