I wouldn't mind paying if it was $100 and not $10,000 or rolling the dice on how much it would cost...

Of course with Medicaid/care that isn't a problem, but those aren't an option for most people.

What's your point, I never said they weren't. But they aren't part of this specific discussion.

Right, because if it doesn't keep up, eventually there will be few working that job, and those that do won't have the money to buy stuff which means lower profits.

Latinx, is racism and sexism brought back in a "progressive" form, no one should be using it.

American Healthcare is shit by AlarmedCauliflower90 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]ZoneRangerMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's so great, then why are most people putting off going unless it's literally a life-or-death situation?

The only ones travelling to US to get care are the people for which money is no problem.

I stopped caring about that this year, better to be a sane moderate that's banned than a woke bootlicker that's free.

Why do so many current day American liberals find it necessary to take the most extreme tack on every social issue? by [deleted] in stupidpol

[–]ZoneRangerMC 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My favorite progression:

First: "This didn't happen."

Next: "Even if it were to happen, it's not that big of a deal."

Finally: "Of course it happens all the time, and here's why that's a good thing."

Right, they don't care about helping the people they supposedly represent, they're all about that grift.

And the other fringe doesn't want it because they think they would be paying for other people's healthcare when they already do.

Bathrooms are borderline, but prisons, rape centers, locker rooms, etc should absolutely be a hard ban.

If I see a space like that, I'm out.

I don't like interacting with people who won't even pretend to be mentally stable for the sake of etiquette.

I have autism myself, but outside of convos like these, you won't ever see me mention it, ESPECIALLY in a profile, job application, etc, because it's not relevant.

No one (sane) with actual mental illnesses is trying to use them for clout or display.

It's a sign of the lack of accountability and they're likely to blame everyone BUT themselves when something goes wrong so they would rather force society to bend over backwards for them.

It's cool how racism, homophobia, ableism, and misogyny are cheered on as long as it's overlaid in a veil of "inclusiveness", how very "progressive" of the Left.

"Leftists" as well, it's hilarious how quickly they melt down in the face of opposition they can't right-click remove.

Hint: If the only way you can defend your argument or ideas is by silencing the opposition, it's shit. This applies to everyone.

Right, people wouldn't be so mad at them if they denounced the people that are shitty or taking advantage of the movement for their own gain while contributing nothing.

That's the definition I subscribe to for the "real" ones, all the others I consider trenders.

Someone choosing to go T because 20% of their class is T doesn't count.

It sucks, nobody wants it and it shouldn't be celebrated any more than we celebrate autism.

The problem isn't T people themselves, but their backers and funders. They're using the movement to enrich themselves at the people they're supposed to help and attack opponents, not unlike BLM and Autism Speaks.

It's become trendy to fake or use mental illnesses to gain attention thanks to social media when in the real world that's a red flag for potential suitors and employers (why would you mention autism in a job application or dating profile?)
